El fin de la ideología PRO en Boca

La fórmula de Jorge Ameal, Mario Pergolini y Juan Román Riquelme se impuso con el 52, 9% de los votos sobre el candidato del oficialismo, Christian Gribaudo, quién obtuvo un 30%. En un día histórico, donde votaron cerca de 40.000 socios (un récord para el fútbol argentino en participación política) el “Último Diez” -como se dice en el mundo futbolero- logró romper con décadas de macrismo en el club más popular de Sudamérica: Una ideología surgida de la década ganada de Carlos Bianchi a comienzos del 2000 y de la crisis política del 2001, donde Macri fundo el PRO. Boca, un ex aguantadero de macristas.

En política nacional ya lo hemos experimentado. ¿Cómo es que se produjo esa combinación coyuntural para que el macrismo perdure en un club como Boca Juniors? Recapitulemos. Con un club desendeudado de la gestión de Antonio Alegre y Carlos Heller, pero con pocos logros en lo futbolístico, el Boca de los 90 se caracterizó por ganarle a River, sumado al espectáculo que rodeaba a los jugadores que integraban sus planteles.

Un 3 de diciembre de 1995, Mauricio Macri llegaba a la presidencia de Boca Juniors y comenzaba su carrera como dirigente político. Para ese entonces, había pasado de manejar el holding de empresas de su padre Franco a manejar el destino del club más importante de la región y protagonizar el comienzo de la época gloriosa de Boca con la llegada de Carlos Bianchi a la dirección técnica.

El desembarco

En tan solo una década, Mauricio Macri construyó una imagen de empresario exitoso que Boca lo supo popularizar. Entrar a la casa de los argentinos no es para cualquiera, sobre todo para quien venía del sector privado y de la patria contratista de los 80 y 90. Ahora era el empresario que mejor vendía a Boca por el mundo, a contramano de las quiebras y la desintegración económica y social que padecían los clubes en los primeros años del 2.000.

Para cuando Mauricio Macri deja el club en 2008 para ser jefe de Gobierno en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, también había fundado su propio partido político al calor de los grandes éxitos y desgracias en el país: podríamos decir que el PRO surge de una combinación entre las Copas Libertadores e Intercontinentales y la crisis política y social del 2001.

La última cruzada

Si tuviéramos que describir la ideología macrista en Boca o definir qué significó el macrismo en la práctica y en lo discursivo, diríamos: un trampolín para la política nacional y eficacia en los campeonatos económicos. Un sello ideológico que hizo de Boca una institución ostentosa de dinero sobre uno de los barrios porteños que abraza a las clases populares argentinas -la zona de los conventillos, con olor a Riachuelo y música tango- un club arrojado el negocio especulativo, que fue perdiendo identidad.

¿Quién puede pensar que los trabajadores de La Boca se corresponden con esta ideología? Vayamos a los datos. En las elecciones generales, en la comuna de La Boca, Mauricio Macri perdió 41,26 a 46,21, aunque, curiosamente, arrasó en los barrios de clase media-alta Núñez (River) y Belgrano: 66,51% a 23,71%. Se podría decir que el hincha de River es más propenso a votar por Macri.

El verdugo

El macrismo se fue de Boca, pero también se terminó el trampolín para el ex titular del Instituto de Previsión Social, Christian Gribaudo, quién pretendía seguir los caminos de Mauricio Macri pero cuando todavía este no había chocado el país.
