Vizzoti: “la segunda ola ya es un hecho”

La ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti, dijo esta mañana que se registra “un aumento sostenido y acelerado” de casos de coronavirus en el país y ratificó que “la segunda ola ya es un hecho”. “Esta situación no excede al contexto global”, dijo la ministra en una rueda de prensa en Casa de Gobierno, en la que destacó que “hay un aumento importante de demanda espontánea y una tensión en algunas regiones en el sistema de salud”, aseguró en una rueda de prensa.

Vizzotti destacó que la Argentina “haya empezado a vacunar antes del aumento de casos y del instalamiento de esta segunda ola”, y precisó que ya se inmunizó el 90 por ciento del personal de salud en todo el país con una dosis.

La ministra dijo que esta tarde “se terminarán de consensuar las medidas que se van a implementar” y afirmó que se tratará de iniciativas “localizadas y transitorias, sin impactar en medidas productivas comerciales y acciones de esparcimiento que no son fuente de infección, y tratando de impactar lo menos posible en la educación y la presencialidad”.

Vizzotti dijo que “las próximas tres semanas son clave” en el marco de la segunda ola de coronavirus en el país y, en ese sentido, afirmó que se necesita “bajar la transmisión del virus para vacunar a quienes tienen más riesgo” en ese lapso de tiempo.

La ministra de Salud dijo que una de las claves de las medidas de cuidado en el marco de la segunda ola de coronavirus es la ventilación de los ambientes, al punto que el aire resulte incluso molesto.

“Tiene que ser cruzada y constante; no es suficiente abrir la ventana un ratito. Tiene que haber corriente de aire, nos tiene que molestar, aunque haga frío y se vuelen los papeles”, dijo.
