“Cuarentena Optativa”, la nueva estrategia que analiza el presidente

“El presidente Fernández daría inicio a parir de la tercera semana de mayo a una “cuarentena optativa”, la cual sería la próxima fase del aislamiento. Fernández no tiene intenciones de causar falsas expectativas, pero la cuarentena obligatoria puede derivar a optativa si la curva de contagios se mantiene como hasta hoy durante la primera quincena de este mes”, escribe el periodista Román Lejtman en un artículo publicado en Infobae

Según Lejtman, “el concepto de cuarentena optativa implica que el presidente y los líderes de la oposición apelarían a “la conciencia social” para permitir que se pueda salir a la calle, hacer deportes al aire libre o sentarse en el banco de una plaza”.

Se llevaría acabo esta medida si los gobernadores y la oposición acompañan esta estrategia, de ser así, Alberto Fernández deberá decidir qué hará con los grupos de riesgo, las actividades comerciales con fuerte contacto social: espectáculos, restaurantes, bares y el transporte público.

Recuperar los hábitos

La decisión científica sobre estos aspectos claves del confinamiento, determinará la amplitud de la cuarentena optativa. La intención es recuperar todos los hábitos cotidianos, pero hacia la búsqueda de ese objetivo ideal, el presidente evalúa métodos que permita usar los colectivos, ir a comer o comprar un par de zapatos sin poner en riesgo el esfuerzo de semanas enteras de cuarentena obligatoria.

La clave para que la próxima fase sea la de una “cuarentena optativa” esta en que los números de infectados no se dispare, y se mantenga una suba de casos positivos “contenida” como viene sucediendo en esta primera semana de “cuarentena focalizada”.
