Llegó un nuevo vuelo con 500 mil dosis de vacunas Sputnik V al país

Un avión de Aerolíneas Argentinas arribó en la madrugada de este jueves a primera hora al Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza desde Moscú con una nueva partida de 500 mil dosis de la vacuna Sputnik V, componente 1.

Se trata del decimoquinto vuelo y el mismo fue operado por el Airbus 330 con matrícula LV-GIF con el número AR1081, el cual fue modificado para funcionar como carguero. El avión partió el martes por la tarde rumbo a Rusia para buscar un nuevo cargamento de vacunas. 

Como en los vuelos anteriores, las vacunas producidas por el Instituto Gamaleya serán trasladadas en contenedores del tipo “thermobox” a una temperatura de 18 grados bajo cero y con carga adicional de refrigeración.

Hasta el momento, llegaron 10.692.490 de vacunas en 19 vuelos completados por Aerolíneas (14 desde Moscú con 7.033.290 dosis de Sputnik V y 5 desde Beijing con 3.659.200 dosis de Sinopharm). Con este nuevo envío, la Argentina habrá recibido más de 12,6 millones de dosis para implementar el Plan Estratégico para la Vacunación contra la COVID-19.

En el último mes, en el periodo comprendido desde el día lunes 29 de marzo hasta el domingo 2 de mayo llegaron al país más de 6 millones de vacunas (6.229.430), de las cuales fueron aplicadas más de 4 millones (4.393.725).
