Hubo Pérez, de la línea Azul, línea interna del radicalismo que comanda Francisco Torroba, y actual director de Pampetrol, es uno de los cinco candidatos legislativos del radicalismo que por estas horas están en plena negociación de cara al cierre de listas del próximo sábado.
Luego de la Convención radical, en la que el 80% definió integrar una nueva alianza con el PRO en Juntos por el Cambio, empezaron a aparecer nombres que complicaron cualquier tipo de unidad dentro de la UCR. A cuatro días del cierre de listas, es prácticamente un hecho que se desarrollarán internas. “Todos corren con las mismas posibilidades. Si no llegamos, lamentablemente, tendremos una interna”, explicó Hugo Pérez en comunicación con Revista BIFE.
Esta situación, analizan dentro del radicalismo, favorecerá al PRO, como ocurrió en 2017 tras la interna de Francisco Torroba y Martín Berhongaray, en la que salió mejor posicionado Martín Maquieyra. “Es un análisis que compartimos todos. Por eso estamos recorriendo, escuchando a los afiliados, a los simpatizantes. Por supuesto que nos preocupa”, lamentó al dirigente radical.
Si no supimos plantarnos, y hacer valer nuestro espacio, es responsabilidad del radicalismo
-¿Cómo fue la reunión de la UCR? ¿Qué cosas se plantearon y qué percibiste de lo que pueda llegar a pasar?
La reunión fue muy cordial. Fue positiva como un inicio para comenzar los acuerdos para la lista de consensos, es el objetivo y lo que quiere el afiliado. Se decidió que vamos a competir en las internas con dos candidatos propios, radicales. Eso fue lo más importante. Todos tienen derechos y pueden ser muy buenos candidatos. Lo que se viene no van a ser reuniones tan formales, sino reuniones de líneas o de candidatos. Es bastante complicado la lista de unidad, porque hoy hay 5 espacios que están pujando. Eso lo complica. Igualmente, las definiciones serán el viernes o sábado.
-¿Por qué comenzaron tan cerca del cierre de listas las negociaciones?
En lo personal y en mi línea nos reunimos los miércoles por zoom. Después de la convención en la que el 80% definió la alianza, la mayoría de los que expusieron dijeron que se debería ir con lista de unidad, y pensé que algunos iban a recoger el guante, pero no, el lunes después de esa asamblea empezaron a tirar candaditos, y nosotros largamos un poco tarde. Pero teníamos decidido aportar nombres para una lista de unidad o para competir.
-¿Hay alguien que esté más cerca de representar la unidad en la UCR?
No creo. No hay ningún candidato. Todos corren con las mimas posibilidades. Deberemos conversar arduamente. Si no llegamos tendremos una interna, lamentablemente.

Siempre fui aliancista. Mi línea, la Azul, siempre planteó las alianzas. Es la forma de potenciar el partido. Sí creo que hay que diferenciar un frente electoral de una alianza. Eso fue un error del radicalismo. Macri dijo por ejemplo que iba a gobernar. También pasó en La Pampa. Deberíamos trabajar juntos en la Cámara de Diputados. Deberíamos prepararnos para sumar a más sectores para gobernar la provincia. Si no supimos plantarnos, y hacer valer nuestro espacio, es responsabilidad del radicalismo. Acá siempre hemos sido la columna vertebral de las alianzas.
-Por último, una reflexión sobre este momento y sobre la campaña que viene que va a estar atravesada por una serie de cuestiones delicadas, tanto sanitarias como económicas…
Sin duda va a ser un impedimento poder comunicarnos. Pero hoy se votan dos modelos opuestos. Un modelo que simplemente subsidia, que no le interesa la educación, un Estado que va por la Justicia, que quiere una Justicia controlada por el Estado. Hoy un 80 por ciento de la gente tiene definido su voto. El gobierno provincial es totalmente kirchnerista. Y va a ser una elección de los dos modelos. Creo que va a ser una elección de modelo nacionalizada, con un gobierno provincial que hasta hace poco se diferenciaba y hoy es un gobierno de La Cámpora, y nosotros vamos a estar en la vereda de enfrente, no va a haber otra alternativa, no habrá terceras partes.
Nosotros, los dirigentes políticos, tenemos los mismos problemas de la gente, sabemos que la gente reclama tener una buena salud, que paremos la inflación. Se deben fijar metas posibles. Si no podemos bajar la pobreza, por lo menos frenémosla. Lo mismo con la inflación.
Hay muchos jóvenes que están esperando que termine la pandemia para irse del país. Esto viene del 2001 pero hoy está más asentado, de distintos niveles sociales y económicos, que se van del país, porque lo único que tenemos para decirles es que tengan fe en que esto va a cambiar.
