Buscan implementar el “tenis social” en la provincia

El gobernador Sergio Ziliotto recibió al presidente de la AAT, Agustín Calleri, quien resaltó la recuperación de la Federación Pampeana como nexo para desarrollar el “tenis social” en la Provincia.  La entidad provincial que volvió a funcionar luego de 18 años de inactividad “gracias a un trabajo conjunto desde la Asociación con el Gobierno de La Pampa a través de la Subsecretaría de Deportes”, indicó.


El dirigente valoró “la predisposición que hubo desde un primer momento de parte del Gobierno porque no podía ser que los chicos de La Pampa tuvieran que viajar a Córdoba o San Luis para jugar un torneo”, situación que comenzará a corregirse ahora ya que la afiliación permitirá que se organicen certámenes de validez nacional en clubes pampeanos y, además, que tenistas locales puedan representar a la Provincia (debían afiliarse a otras federaciones para poder jugar).


El ex tenista profesional destacó también que en el marco del trabajo conjunto “se podrán bajar programas, ayudas y capacitaciones” para jugadores y entrenadores locales con la intención de extender la práctica del “tenis social”.


“Tenemos un plan para que se implemente en las escuelas, porque los chicos pueden hacerlo en un playón, con mini-redes, pelotas de baja presión y profesores de educación física capacitados que les den las primeras herramientas. Luego sí, al club. Todos hemos sido, antes que profesionales, jugadores sociales. No es al revés”, apuntó.
En este plano, consideró, en su encuentro con el Gobernador, que “La Pampa tiene potencial. Para nuestro deporte, el interior es muy importante, por eso estamos trabajando con la Secretaría de Deportes de Nación para lanzar un plan que permita masificar la práctica del tenis con una perspectiva federal por primera vez en la historia”
