El monto utilizado desde el inicio de la pandemia a la fecha se aplicó al “Programa Regreso a Casa”, y a enfermos de COVID-19 que no requirieron internación hospitalaria.
El programa, cuyo costo es asumido íntegramente por el Gobierno provincial, se activó hace cuatro meses para dar respuesta a los pampeanos que habían quedado varados fuera de la Provincia al inicio de la pandemia y que pudieran retornar a sus hogares.
Se tuvieron en cuenta fundamentalmente los estudiantes universitarios que estaban lejos de sus hogares y sin actividades curriculares, ya que las casas de altos estudios suspendieron el dictado presencial de clases. El programa contempla además a las y los pampeanos que estaban fuera de la Provincia, y querían regresar.
Hasta el momento se otorgaron aproximadamente 3.200 autorizaciones, de las cuales se hicieron efectivas cerca de 2.000 mientras el resto optó por no regresar.

Tras una breve interrupción del “Regreso a casa” para atender la demanda que provocaron los brotes registrados en el norte provincial, el programa se encuentra activo y los interesados en acceder al mismo pueden hacerlo a través del sitio https://regresoacasa.lapampa.gob.ar/.
Los casos positivos de COVID-19 son mayoritariamente aislados en hoteles, salvo los cuadros complejos que son internados en los centros asistenciales especialmente preparados para atender la pandemia.
En tanto las personas consideradas “contactos estrechos convivientes” también son usuarios de las plazas hoteleras dispuestas para situaciones de aislamiento y en las últimas semanas se sumaron efectivos de distintas comisarías y agentes del equipo de Salud Pública que, por su actividad diaria, pudieran considerarse como posibles transmisores del virus.
