El gobierno analiza la vuelta del fútbol gratuito

El Gobierno relanza la Televisión Digital Abierta (TDA) que había sepultado el gobierno de Mauricio Macri y analiza la vuelta de una suerte de Fútbol para Todos, un emblema de los mandatos de Cristina Kirchner.

Alberto Fernández anunció este miércoles el Plan Conectar 2020-2023, que requiere una inversión de $37.900 millones para potenciar la estructura de comunicaciones, a fin de alcanzar la “universalización del acceso a los servicios TIC y a las conexiones de banda ancha de última generación” de los habitantes.

La inversión se destinará al Sistema Satelital Argentino, a la Red Federal de Fibra Óptica (Refefo), la Televisión Digital Abierta y al centro nacional de datos, todas iniciativas lideradas por la empresa estatal Arsat.

Operadores cercanos al gobierno ya tantearon a la multinacional española del juego Codere, para ver si está interesada en financiar parcialmente el torneo de Primera División.

La distribución y venta de equipos satelitales de TA fue suspendida en 2016, en el primer año de mandato de Mauricio Macri, que promovió la privatización de las transmisiones de fútbol y la licitación que ganaron las cadenas Fox y TNT. Para justificar la privatización, el ex presidente dijo que “cada $ 35 millones que destinamos al fútbol, significa que puedo hacer un jardín de infantes menos”.

El ejecutivo está en estudio la posibilidad de que se transmita de manera abierta y gratuita entre tres y cinco partidos por cada fecha de la Primera División. Se trata de una bandera con la que el kirchnerismo espera tener alto impacto electoral, en uno de los países más futboleros del planeta.
