A meses del brote de COVID-19 desatado en la localidad de Catriló la directora del Hospital “Amada Gatica”, Claudia Sangiani, destacó que el mismo se encuentra controlado aunque sigue el alerta preventivo y anticipó otras 2 jornadas de “Búsqueda Activa” para mañana y el viernes.La directora recordó que el brote en la localidad comenzó el 24 de julio y se encuentra totalmente controlado.
“En veinte días logramos cercar toda la situación y resolver favorablemente. En estos días volvimos a tener algunos casos positivos y respecto a estos últimos pudimos establecer el nexo, algo de suma importancia”, señaló la directora, transmitiendo tranquilidad a la población.
Fueron tres casos reportados en las últimas 48 horas. “Estamos de manera permanente trabajando con las instituciones y la población reforzando todas las medidas preventivas. En Catriló hay una muy buena adhesión y predisposición de la sociedad. Tenemos mucha colaboración del personal municipal, de Seguridad y Bomberos que recorren la población”, dijo, resaltándolo como una fortaleza muy importante que tiene la localidad.
Búsqueda Activa
Anunció que la “Búsqueda Activa” se realizará este jueves y viernes. “Esto no tiene que ver con los últimos casos detectados, sino que nuestra institución ya la tenía programada. Lo hacemos porque consideramos que es de buena práctica investigar donde estuvo el foco, y en la medida de nuestras posibilidades intentar que no haya un nuevo brote”. Forma parte del trabajo activo que el hospital y la comunidad sigue haciendo respecto al COVID-19.
Señaló que el equipo de Salud es muy fuerte, “está dividido en distintos grupos de trabajo que se mantiene desde el inicio del brote y ese mismo equipo una vez que lo pudo resolver, siguió trabajando un poco para ir revisando algunas cuestiones y fortaleciendo otras, para evitar un nuevo brote. Obviamente no estamos libres de volver a atravesarlo, pero revisar nos parece una acción fundamental en una pandemia”, concluyó Claudia Sangiani.
