Luego de 9 años de trotar por el underground bonaerense, y ya despojado del uniforme de punk Y2K de sus inicios, Jableach/Javier Oros retorna a Santa Rosa para seguir en búsqueda de la canción perfecta en la diezmada escena local. “La verdad no tenía pensado volver, el covid fue la gota que rebalsó el vaso”, dice el músico militante del do it yourself, que lejos de cargar con frustración, adelanta lo que se trae en manos. “Hay que generar lugares alternativos, sino te ves anclado a jugar las reglas del único lugar que haya para tocar. Mi idea es gestionar nuevos espacios para la movida”.
Javier desde hace unos años balancea su tiempo y creatividad entre ser artífice de sus canciones y también en darle forma a material ajeno. “Desde el 2014 que laburo en la mezcla de audio y master. Ni bien regresé armé el Home Studio”, además, cuenta que en estas horas gestó la iniciativa de un disco tributo a la inmensa Rosario Bléfari. “Nació de la necesidad de expresar mi cariño a una artista que no tuvo el reconocimiento que merece, a mi parecer”.
–¿Cómo se dio este regreso tuyo a Santa Rosa?
No me quedó otra posibilidad, más siendo músico y operador de audio, imposible vivir sin un ingreso, además ya venía cascoteado con el receso económico de la gestión anterior, la gente prioriza comer y no ir al teatro o ver una banda.
–¿La pandemia fue decisiva, entonces?
Sí, el covid fue la gota que rebalso el vaso.
–¿Y cómo ves el hecho de reinsertarte a la movida local?
No pensé mucho en eso, pero puedo tantear un poco las cosas por lo que me cuentan los colegas y decirte como la veo. Lo que puedo percibir es que se profesionalizo un poco más hacer música. Y eso me parece genial. O sea hay una preocupación de parte de los músicos en indagar y mejorar la propuesta en relación a años anteriores, al menos es mi lectura desde afuera.
Ya venía cascoteado con el receso económico de la gestión anterior, la gente prioriza comer y no ir al teatro o ver una banda.
–Pero a su vez hay una escena mucho más chica, en cuanto a propuestas estéticas alternativas que las que había durante 2006 y 2011, cuando vos tocabas acá…
Sí, estoy de acuerdo en eso, ya no se ven tantos proyectos, estamos los que venimos de siempre poniendo el pecho. También creo que algo influye el cambio generacional, puede deberse a que haya crecido otra rama musical como el rap, trap, por ejemplo. Y esto también trajo que los lugares para tocar sean acotadísimos, por eso creo que a los lugares hay que generarlos, reinventar la movida. Las reglas de juego cambiaron.
–¿Ves que puede haber interés por parte de músicos para que eso suceda y se generen lugares por fuera de bares?
Por mi parte tengo en mente hacer algo así, también se que no se acostumbra en la ciudad pero hay que insistir. Las cosas cambian de forma todo el tiempo, y acá han cambiado desde que me fui en 2011.
Creo que a los lugares hay que generarlos, reinventar la movida. Las reglas de juego cambiaron.
–¿En esos años, como veías desde adentro lo que estaba pasando acá en la movida santarroseña?
Nunca estuve cómodo, me parecía choto la discriminación entre colegas por ser de otro palo, ponele. Y en cuánto los lugares lo de siempre, aprovechándose económicamente de los músicos. Es algo que pasa en el país, pero en una ciudad más grande podés elegir donde tocar y donde te respeten por tu trabajo.
–¿Cómo fue desembarcar en territorio bonaerense con tu propuesta artística?
Caí en La Plata, fui a estudiar composición a bellas artes. Los primeros años armé la banda y toqué bastante, se dio porqué viví en el centro universitario pampeano, entonces los que vivíamos ahí conformábamos la comisión Y armábamos fechas con bandas de todo tipo. Así se hicieron algunos links para tocar en otros lados. Tanto allá como acá no queda otra que hacerlo por uno mismo. Nadie lo va a hacer por vos.
–Al tiempo de estar instalado en Buenos Aires diste un giro en cuanto a tu propuesta y viraste hacia la canción, ¿cómo se dio eso, hubo un click determinante o fue parte de una búsqueda?
Hacía tiempo que no estaba a gusto con lo que hacía musicalmente pero era lo que me salía en ese entonces, cuando llegué a La Plata empecé a recibir otra data y eso me cambió a la fuerza de alguna manera. Formas nuevas con las que sentís identificado y te hacen cambiar. Me compré una acústica, un sinte y una loopera, así salió lo que salió. Hago lo que me nace.
–Esa data de la que hablás, ¿de qué manera te llegó?
Digamos que fue lo último que me llevé de santa rosa con las fiestas indie en el Viejo Villo, y fundamentalmente de la radio de la Universidad de La Plata que pasa todo el tiempo propuestas geniales de la ciudad. Así descubrí una banda llamada Pérez. Me sentí muy identificado con esa propuesta y ahÍ fui linkeando.
–¿A dónde te llevaron esos links?
De mis bandas favoritas puedo recordar a La teoría del Caos, Norma, Heyy Ema, The Falcons, Un planeta, Teo caminos… Hay mucha canción ahí.
–¿Y cómo te encontró en lo emocional esa etapa en la cual decidiste cambiar de estilo y además salir del formato banda para convertirte en solista?
En cuanto al formato fue natural, porque como siempre estuve componiendo solo no hubo mucha diferencia, lo que cambia es la seguridad que siente. Estás arriba de un escenario con 4 personas más y eso te hace sentir más seguro. Estando solo es otra concentración. Emocionalmente muy bien, estaba con todo en el proyecto. Uno va creciendo y la pila se desgasta un toque (risas) pero siempre hay que recargarla. O cambiar el switch. Antes de despedirme del formato de banda grabé unas canciones que nunca publiqué y de alguna manera fueron las del cierre de una etapa emocional. Me di el lujo de grabarlas con el ingeniero de Pérez y el baterista Martín Lambert, ayudado en la producción por Matías Zabalhauregui guitarrista de Pérez. Después de eso me fui a la acústica y el loop. Bálsamo, mi último EP, está trabajado en la loopera. Son capas minimalistas que se van sumando a lo largo de la canción.

–Probablemente el contexto actual no de lugar a próximas presentaciones en vivo en el corto plazo, a raíz de esto, ¿te interesó la idea de tocar vía stream?
No, para nada. Se hizo una movida de gente exponiéndose por nada. Lo que sí veo es que por lo menos se mejoró en la de la transmisión de esos shows. Cuando empezó era un bajón.
–¿Dónde tenés puesta la energía en este momento?
Ahora estoy trabajando en la mezcla del próximo EP de Paraninfos. También estoy muy manija con un disquito que estoy trabajando en homenaje a Rosario Bléfari.
–¿El homenaje a Rosario parte de una iniciativa tuya?
Sí, nació de la necesidad de expresar mi cariño a una artista que no tuvo el reconocimiento que merece, a mi parecer. Primero había pensado en hacer unas canciones con un amigo que me hizo conocer la obra de Rosario hace unos años, y después dije, somos varios los que nos identificamos con su obra, entonces esa fue la premisa para sumar a otros músicos. Luego de eso me voy a enfocar en mis canciones.
