Psicología del militante virtual

El principal rasgo del militante 2.0 es la fiaca, y de ella se desprende la condición de dramático entusiasmado, policía del lenguaje y oportunismo desenfrenado.

Con el devenir de las nuevas tecnologías, la proliferación de las redes sociales, ha surgido de la contemporaneidad un nuevo sujeto social: el Militante Virtual. Para este nuevo espécimen, la web se volvió el espacio público de discusión, el ágora de la antigua Grecia o la plaza San Martín de Santa Rosa.

La característica que más lo define es la fiaca. El militante virtual es, en el fondo, un «ser fiacún», o un «ser-para-la-fiaca». Es muy importante la fiaca porque de ella se desprenden todos los rasgos que componen su psicología. La condición de dramático entusiasmado, la de policía del lenguaje, o de oportunista desenfrenado, son elementos que sabe utilizar con total eficacia para poder justificar, en definitiva, su estado ideal: la pereza.


¿Qué significa esto? que el militante virtual es, además, un ser culpógeno. No puede acostarse sin sentir culpa, por ejemplo, sobre el pasto de la laguna Don Tomás, un martes a las cuatro de la tarde, mientras fuma un cigarro y disfruta de un exquisito baño de sol.

El militante virtual es culpógeno, como la clase media, porque en general, es de clase media.


Esto lo puede hacer si antes ha compartido en su Facebook unas cuantas publicaciones repudiando tal o cual declaración de determinada persona. Ahí sí que se puede beber toda la botella de la modorra. El militante virtual es culpógeno, como la clase media, porque en general, es de clase media.

En las marchas.
El más comprometido suele ir a las marchas, pero tampoco que se queda hasta el final: con una selfie alcanza. Naturalmente, está más pendiente de la mirada del otro que de la causa en sí misma. Por eso siempre es el primero que exclama al viento: «¡Sale una selfie!». Apenas se deja constancia de su presencia, el militante virtual se toma el buque.


Algunos le solicitan a otro compañero que le saque la foto, de tal manera que, si tiene una bandera, la levanta hasta que le agarra tendinitis en los hombros, y pone cara de constipado o de «me enojo solo», para que el cuadro parezca un poco más épico. La épica es muy importante. Luego, esta foto se colocará irremediablemente en su imagen de perfil, o de portada de Facebook.


Si la marcha comienza a las 19 horas, el militante virtual no te va a ir a las siete de la tarde. A no ser que en la previa hayan sanguchitos o alguna otra colación para mantener la panza contenta. Si la marcha empieza a las 19 y finaliza a las 21, el militante virtual te va a ir a las 20. Las ocho de la noche, en este caso, es el momento de mayor auge de la marcha, y allí estará el militante virtual para disparar con su celular. Como dijimos, la épica y la imagen son muy importantes. (Hay algunos, los más radicalizados, que directamente laburan de ir a marchas ajenas, cobran un sueldo).

Vigilante del lenguaje.
El militante virtual es, también, un policía del lenguaje. Es una regla que tiene tatuada en la frente con fuego valyrio. Dedica largas horas de su día a patrullar por redes sociales, en busca de comentarios «inapropiados», palabras «incorrectas» o frases «provocadoras».


Cuando el militante virtual encuentra alguna frase subida de tono, se indigna. Luego se indigna por Whatsapp en un grupo de indignados. Cuando cuenta lo que leyó, los integrantes del grupo dicen «Oh no, qué barbaridad, ¿en serio dijo eso?».


A continuación deciden contestarle con insultos en los comentarios; y por último, si están muy organizados, redactan un comunicado, que empieza diciendo: «Repudiamos enérgicamente las desafortunadas declaraciones de…». Ya escrachada la persona, pueden tirarse panza arriba para hacer lo que más les gusta: fiaca.

Dedica largas horas de su día a patrullar por redes sociales, en busca de comentarios «inapropiados», palabras «incorrectas» o frases «provocadoras».

Oportunismo desenfrenado.
Cuando ve venir una ola, sin dudar, el militante virtual se recuesta con obscenidad. A veces, barrena tanto la ola que se termina estrellando contra las rocas de la orilla.


Es humano, y por lo tanto es contradictorio. Es decir, por la acumulación de olas en las que se ha acostado, hay momentos en que por la simple dinámica del oportunismo desenfrenado, incurre en contradicciones.


Esto le sucede por su postura radicalizada frente a todos los temas. Pero ojo, no es culpa suya, sino de la maldita «burbuja virtual». La burbuja, o su perfil de Facebook, es aquella «casa amigable» en la que interactúan en Internet, donde no hay posiciones contrapuestas. Todos son del palo. Lo que genera es eclipsar nuevas ideas, de tal manera que las vigentes se vuelven cada vez más extremas.


¿Por qué? porque la comunicación en redes sociales es emocional. Lo que rige el lenguaje en ese mundo es la instantaneidad, que coincide con la emotividad, desentendiéndose de lo lento y reflexivo. Podemos decir, entonces, que el militante virtual es incontinente y emocional.


Cuando alguien desentona en esta burbuja de Facebook o «casa amigable», lo que ocurre es un disciplinamiento feroz y espontáneo por parte de toda la comunidad, una «tormenta de mierda», diría un teórico, que le cae a este individuo. Si no se corrige, es decir, si no se acalla, será expulsado de la comunidad. Y nadie quiere ser expulsado, mejor negocio es ser amado.

Otras características.
Como buen producto de la época, es un consumidor voraz. Está al tanto del abanico de causas «populares» de su entorno, y esto le ayuda a recopilar frases emotivas para anular todo argumento reflexivo. El militante virtual suele decir «las redes sociales son la nueva herramienta de lucha».


Siempre pone en su foto de perfil un lema que esté de moda, aunque la frase desentone drásticamente con la imagen. Por ejemplo, el militante virtual, en Santa Rosa, escribe sobre su imagen la leyenda de: «Aparición con vida de los 43 estudiantes mexicanos», mientras en su foto de perfil aparece sonriente tomando tequila en Cancún. Como Internet, el militante virtual no tiene fronteras.


Tiene una especie de regodeo con el show, con la celebrity. Se sospecha que quiera ser un héroe, hay un sentimiento de grandeza que lo envuelve. Quiere manejar algo, quiere ser la cabecilla de algo. Pero desde su escritorio.


El militante virtual apoya y comparte todas las luchas habidas y por haber, es un feroz compartidor de publicaciones, por más que no tenga nada que ver con su vida. Por ejemplo, puede ser decididamente un depredador de todo tipo de carnes, y al mismo tiempo apropiarse de la lucha de «por una alimentación sana».


Haciendo una alegoría a la foto de los pies metidos en la fuente, el militante virtual mete las manos en una palangana luego de una virulenta publicación.


El militante virtual es un ser humano, y por lo tanto, lo que quiere es cariño. Cuando se siente solo por las noches, escribe en su cuenta un parrafito indignándose por cualquier motivo, y finaliza diciendo «¡pero esto no me va a detener, voy a seguir en la lucha, todes juntes!».

Cuando se acuesta y vuelve a agarrar su celular, lee las respuestas de su publicación, y su mente va ingresando plácidamente al mundo de los sueños, mientras se duerme sonriendo por los «me gusta» y apoyos que recibe; y deja de sentirse tan solo.
