Día 1: El perverso goce por paranoiquear y el debate por las libertades en épocas de emergencia

Diario de la cuarentena. Las fuentes que anuncian la expansión del virus y las futuras medidas restrictivas. El debate por las libertades individuales o generales. La desprotección de los cajeros y el placer por aumentar la paranoia.

1.Todas las fuentes que atendieron a BIFE dijeron extraoficialmente que la mano viene de mal en peor. Que se preparan para “el peor escenario”. Esperan que estalle en el Conurbano, se escurra por Capital y viaje hacia todo el país. En La Pampa, se comenzarían a ver los primeros casos en abril. Se habla de muchos muertos. Algunos de los municipios, incluso, no cesaron con la actividad nocturna durante estos últimos días (para graficar el grado de falta de conciencia). “Es inexorable esta situación, ya avanzó y hay que tomar nuevas medidas”, dijeron algunas fuentes con contactos nacionales. Están coordinando y diseñando la manera de bajar otro tipo de mensaje. Más duro. Más crudo. Hasta ahora, al parecer, el mensaje blando de “entre todos salimos”, no está dando resultado. Hay posibilidades, también, de que la cuarentena se extienda. Igualmente, dicen fuentes de Seguridad, “es incontrolable en los barrios”, donde hay más necesidades y se precisa salir para buscar el mango. Se esperan medidas más rígidas para aquel que viole la cuarentena.

2.Hubo un “debate” por la lista que se publicó de las personas que debían estar obligatoriamente en cuarentena. Algunos decían que “está bien que se sepa” y otros que “está mal porque son datos privados”. Escuché: “En estas situaciones las libertades individuales quedan eliminadas por el interés general superior, que es la salud de todos”. Se habla también del “método coreano”, algo inviable en Argentina por su cultura. El tiempo de ocio se presta para imaginar el peor de los escenarios en una sociedad donde se tome a raja tabla la idea de la eliminación del interés individual por el general.

3.El primer día la actividad fue casi normal. Vi por las calles de Santa Rosa pelados panzones caminando en cortos. Familias en plazas. Chicos jugando en hamacas. Llama la atención los empleados de comercio. En La Anónima las cajeras no tenían ningún tipo de protección, ni gel ni guantes ni etc. El interés general es que la sociedad se pueda alimentar sin que se enferme, pero éstas cajeras, a pecho descubierto, ¿quién las cuida? Es cierto que es una encrucijada o un agujero más del sistema de prevención. Ahora, coordinaron entre el gobierno y los gremios la reducción horaria a partir del lunes: abrirán entre las 7 hasta las 18hs. El objetivo, dijeron, es “cuidar la salud de los empleados”. Sin embargo, nadie especificó si el Coronavirus descansa entre esa franja horaria o bien funciona todo el día, como un maxikiosco.

4.Las películas más vistas son “Virus”, “Pandemia”, “Epidemia”. Hay un extraño y perverso placer con paranoiquear. El goce se encuentra, calculo, en esa ansiedad, esa adrenalina. Racionalmente uno se queja del “bombardeo” pero después busca aumentar la paranoia. Algunos le echan la culpa a los medios de comunicación, pero ¿hasta dónde los medios manipulan la audiencia para que la audiencia manipule a los medios? ¿No serán los medios un reflejo exacto de lo que es la audiencia? Solo basta publicar contenido que no esté relacionado al Coronavirus y observar el interés del público. Si bien hay quejas, como: “Estoy harto del Corona”, parece que no hay demanda ni interés en hablar de otro tema.
