Facundo Sanso: “Yo viví lo que fue el desierto del hip hop en Santa Rosa”

Facundo Sanso es un joven de 23 años, nacido en el seno de una familia trabajadora santarroseña. La ciudad que lo vio crecer le dio entre tantas enseñanzas una que se hace carne hoy más que nunca, si quiere cumplir sus metas, tiene que adaptarse y surfear la ola.

–¿Cómo fue el gran inicio, ese momento donde encontraste refugio en la cultura hip hop?

Empecé con un micrófono de computadora, filtros anti pop caseros y tutoriales en YouTube, así aprendí a usar los programas de grabación

–¿Cómo se vive el arte, cómo es vivir el hip hop cuando parece que se te cierran todas las puertas, que a nadie le interesa o que quizá, algunas instituciones te ponen trabas a la hora de llevar a cabo actividades relacionadas a la cultura hip Hop?

Bueno, con mi incursión al mundillo nació mi primer home studio y empecé a experimentar

–¿En algún momento buscaste instrucción sobre producción y grabación a nivel académico o preferís mantenerlo autodidacta?

Sí, me habría gustado estudiar producción musical, pero al terminar la secundaria me puse a trabajar y a día de hoy no podría sacrificar la libertad del salario por una carrera que demande mucho tiempo. Nadie dice que en algún futuro no me la juegue, pero por ahora me quedo con los cursos on-line.

“A día de hoy no hay mucho tiempo para hacer lo que te apasiona”

–Creo que muchos vamos a estar de acuerdo si decimos que la crisis que estamos viviendo hace muy difícil dedicarle tiempo a lo que nos apasiona ¿Cómo organizaste tus tiempos entre trabajo y hobby?

Es necesario aclarar que hoy tengo que tener dos trabajos para llegar a fin de mes, reparto agua y trabajo en un taller de impresoras. Hace algún tiempo ya que no me doy el tiempo para grabar o producir.

–Tengo entendido que no hace mucho habías encontrado la manera de complementar trabajo y pasatiempo. ¿Se puede saber qué pasó?

En su momento pude fusionar trabajo y pasión grabando a las nuevas generaciones de jóvenes que se metían de lleno a la cultura. Sin embargo, las tarifas que yo había puesto eran casi simbólicas, no se tomaba en serio ni al artista ni a uno como productor… básicamente porque habíamos salido de la nada, pero la premisa era apoyar el movimiento siempre que fuera posible

–No está todo perdido igual ¿O sí?

Por suerte luego de que la gente vea que yo, un tipo sencillo, logró grabar y producir con tan poco, otros se vieron motivados y ahí realicé mi aporte. Ayudé a los nuevos entusiastas que acudían a mí por las cuestiones técnicas que aprendí con los años, actualmente hay muy buenas producciones independientes en la ciudad

–Sin lugar a dudas estamos transitando un tiempo donde las antiguas estructuras se ponen en juego, donde se resignifica el rol de la mujer y cobra fuerza una nueva realidad ¿Cómo se vive esto dentro del ámbito del hip hop?

Las pibas en la cultura hip hop siempre estuvieron presentes, hace algunos años quizá pasaban desapercibidas en un intento de no ser juzgadas de “machonas”, por ejemplo. Pero lo lindo de esta cultura es que se puede hacer de los reclamos una expresión artística, gráfica, audiovisual o atlética como permite el grafiti, el rap o el break dance respectivamente. El hip hop es, de alguna manera, el lugar donde todas y todos se ven empoderados.
