Conectividad: El gobierno aumentó la distribución de tráfico en la red provincial de fibra óptica

La provincia de La Pampa aumentó su distribución de tráfico en la red provincial de fibra óptica a 10GB, para dar respuesta al incremento del consumo de internet que provocó la cuarentena dispuesta por el Covid-19. 

Esta medida y otras acciones completan el  plan de gestión dispuesto por el gobernador Sergio Ziliotto para que la conectividad sea un instrumento más para forjar una sociedad inclusiva y desarrollada.  El plan de gobierno diseñado y divulgado en el marco de la plataforma electoral del gobernador Ziliotto,  planteaba bajo la premisa que “Más conectividad, es más inclusión”, seis ejes de acción precisos.


La pandemia de coronavirus aceleró exponencialmente la progresión diseñada para implementar el plan. Hoy, a través del ministerio de Conectividad y Modernización y con el compromiso y participación de todas las carteras del gobierno provincial, esos proyectos están en funcionamiento.


El punto de partida fue la puesta en marcha de la  Empresa Provincial de Telecomunicaciones, sostenida en el Estado, las cooperativas y los pequeños y medianos prestadores de este tipo de servicios. EMPATEL fue el escalón sobre el cual se sentaron las bases para avanzar en infraestructura e inversiones que facilitan más acceso a las tecnologías en la mayor parte del territorio pampeano.


La idea de una Red de Seguridad Pública que articulara policía, defensa civil, bomberos y salud hoy es un hecho. De una forma u otra y con distintos propósitos, estos organismos se entrelazaron para funcionar en el marco de los operativos que se dispusieron para prevenir y afrontar al  coronavirus en La Pampa.


Otro de los objetivos era la modernización del Estado. Hoy, en medio de la pandemia,  gran parte de los trámites vinculados al Estado es posible hacerlos en línea, lo mismo que  el pago de impuestos y transacciones bancarias. Vale mencionar que muchos de los servicios estaban disponibles y otros son de reciente creación, pero la imposibilidad de transitar los intensificó e hizo de uso cotidiano.


Muchos de los trámites que llevaban a miles de pampeanos horas de cola, hoy se resuelven de manera remota, constituyéndose en un servicio efectivo y conveniente que llegó para quedarse.


Los últimos dos puntos sobre los que se planeaba avanzar eran la potenciación del servicio de Telemedicina y la promoción de la educación  a distancia. En ambas direcciones se avanzó con inversiones y acciones, habida cuenta que la aparición del virus impuso que prácticamente los dos servicios se transformaran en indispensables.


Todos los hospitales modulares que se construyeron cuentan con modernos sistemas que les permiten chequear historias clínicas y otras prestaciones en línea, articulando con la base de datos de salud pública. 


Finalmente la educación a la distancia se impuso, a dos meses de haber iniciado la pandemia, como un instrumento necesario. La cartera educativa rápidamente sumó contenidos a sus páginas web para que, tanto alumnos como docentes, pudieran avanzar bajo a la modalidad virtual. El objetivo de que los chicos y chicas pampeanas continúen con su formación a pesar de la pandemia se está cumpliendo y la virtualidad tiende a transformarse en una modalidad que permanecerá en el ámbito educativo.


“El norte trazado por el gobernador Ziliotto de poner  las tecnologías al servicio de los pampeanos se está cumpliendo, y con él, el  propósito de achicar la brecha digital para avanzar en una nueva forma de justicia social.”, resaltaron desde el ejecutivo.
