La provincia de La Pampa adoptó diversas y oportunas medidas para afrontar la pandemia de coronavirus al delinear una meticulosa estrategia operacional para la puesta en marcha de los hospitales modulares de Santa Rosa y General Pico, con los que el sistema de Salud sumó 102 camas.
Raúl Álvarez y Laura Rivera, director y directora asociada respectivamente del Hospital Lucio Molas, en representación del Ministerio de Salud, detallaron cómo se instrumentó la planificación que dispuso el gobernador, Sergio Ziliotto, con el consenso de un Comité de Crisis multidisciplinario.
La estrategia apuntó a prevenir la internación de pacientes con COVID-19 y con ese fin se sumaron recursos en los centros sanitarios de la Provincia de mayor complejidad. Tales son los casos del Establecimiento Asistencial Gobernador Centeno de General Pico y el Hospital Lucio Molas de Santa Rosa que, ante el contexto planteado por la pandemia a nivel mundial y nacional, requieren estar lo mejor preparados posible para afrontar las eventuales contingencias.
En el marco de ese contexto la preparación de La Pampa contra la pandemia previó la incorporación de los hospitales modulares, sumando un total de 102 camas, 58 de ellas en la ciudad de Santa Rosa y las restantes en la de General Pico, para la atención exclusiva de pacientes con COVID-19.
Estas medidas, que demandaron una fuerte inversión económica, se cristalizaron por la decisión política del gobernador, Sergio Ziliotto, quien decidió reforzar integralmente el sistema de Salud provincial.
En tanto, los módulos instalados en el Hospital Lucio Molas se concretaron por el trabajo conjunto y articulado de todas las áreas de Gobierno. Contarán con 58 camas, todas ellas en condiciones de ser adaptados y transformados en Unidades de Terapia Intensiva, en caso que la gravedad de los cuadros así lo exigieran.
En menos de 60 días la Provincia construyó ambos hospitales modulares. La prontitud en la que se concretaron los trabajos fue posible por la excelente sinergia entre funcionarios y personal de la Administración Provincial de Energía, de la Subsecretaría de Hidrocarburos, del Ministerio de Conectividad y Modernización, de Obras y Servicios Públicos y de la Secretaría General de Gobierno, entre otras.
