El presidente Alberto Fernández decretará en las próximas horas la cuarentena total hasta el 31 de marzo, para reforzar aún más las acciones contra el coronavirus que en la Argentina, donde hay 97 casos confirmados, entre los que se contabilizan 3 muertes.
El Jefe de Estado definió los detalles de esa medida durante una cumbre con los gobernadores en la Quinta de Olivos.
Fuentes de la Casa Rosada adelantaron que la cuarentena total establece que “nadie puede moverse de su casa desde las 0 horas del viernes, hasta las 24 horas del 31 de marzo” y solamente se podrá salir “a farmacias y a comprar comida“.
Y se advirtió que será considerado un “delito contra la salud pública” violar las medidas, por lo que las fuerzas de seguridad podrán proceder a la detención de la persona y el secuestro de su vehículo.
En las próximas horas se publicarán dos decretos, uno para oficializar la medida y otro con la reglamentación. En este último se indicará qué comercios quedarán exentos.
La idea del Gobierno es aplacar la curva de contagiados, aseguran fuentes oficiales. Como contrapunto, el parate de la actividad impactará de lleno en los bolsillos por el cierre temporario de miles de negocios.
La cuarentena total comenzó a tomar forma el miércoles, durante la reunión que Alberto Fernández mantuvo con los jefes parlamentarios de la oposición. Puntualmente, allí se estudiaron los mecanismos para “aumentar las restricciones y los niveles de aislamiento”.
La cumbre con gobernadores
La reunión en la Quinta de Olivos se demoró una hora, hasta las 18, porque se espero que el bonaerense Axel Kicillof termine un encuentro con intendentes de su distrito y se sume a las deliberaciones mediante videoconferencia.
Los mandatarios provinciales comenzaron a ingresar minutos antes de las 17. Algunos de los primeros en llegar fueron el de Jujuy, Gerardo Morales; el de San Luis, Alberto Rodríguez Saá; el de Santiago del Estero, Gerardo Zamora; el de San Juan, Sergio Uñac, y el jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, entre otros.
También participan Arabella Carreras (Río Negro), Oscar Herrera Ahuad (Misiones), Sergio Ziliotto (La Pampa), Omar Perotti (Santa Fe), Mariano Arcioni (Chubut), Gildo Insfrán (Formosa), Juan Manzur (Tucumán), Gustavo Valdés (Corrientes), Gustavo Bordet (Entre Ríos) y Jorge Capitanich (Chaco), entre otros.
En tanto, otros de los mandatarios que recurrieron a la videoconferencia para participar de las discusiones son el Tierra del Fuego, Gustavo Melella, y el de Catamarca, Raúl Jalil, quien se encuentra en cuarentena porque días atrás viajó a Toronto, Canadá.
