Un grave caso de bullying en Córdoba terminó con un niño de 8 años internado por la picadura de un alacrán. El niño pasó 48 horas en cuidados intermedios del hospital pediátrico de esa provincia luego de que un grupo de compañeros le pusieran el alacrán en la panza “por gordito”.
El episodio ocurrió el viernes en una escuela ubicada en la avenida Castro Barros de la capital provincial, donde un grupo de estudiantes hostigaba al niño por su apariencia física. “El compañerito lo agarró de la panza y le dijo ‘quedate quieto gordito’, le abrió la remera y le puso el objeto atrás y ahí fue que sintió inmediatamente la picadura”, contó la madre del chico.
Ese mismo viernes por la tarde, el niño fue llevado de urgencia al Hospital de Niños de esa ciudad. Tenía todos los síntomas compatibles con una picadura de alacrán: hipertensión, vómitos y dolor abdominal.
El episodio se dio a conocer gracias a que el taxista que trasladó a la madre con el chico al centro de salud contó lo ocurrido en una radio local: “La madre iba desesperada”, aseguró.
En primera instancia, las autoridades del colegio, cuyo nombre no trascendió, plantearon que se trató de una “broma” y que el chico solo “se había asustado”, en declaraciones radiales negaron que se tratara de un caso de bullying.
Más tarde, Cecilia Angulo, médica del Hospital de Niños, confirmó la noticia en una entrevista y dijo que el niño ingresó a la Unidad de Cuidados Intermedios “hipertenso, con muchos vómitos y dolor abdominal”, pero que “lograron estabilizarlo”. Agregó que “durante el fin de semana evolucionó de manera positiva y por eso fue dado de alta”.
La madre del niño hizo la denuncia correspondiente por el ataque. Además contó que no es la primera vez que su hijo sufre este tipo de amenazas. “Él no pudo reaccionar, se quedó paralizado y a los minutos empezó a vomitar y a descomponerse”, relató la mujer.
“Recomiendo que por favor inculquemos la lucha contra el bullying en las escuelas porque no es la primera vez que pasa este tipo de cosas. Tratemos que esto sirva de algo”, concluyó la mujer.
