La Autoridad de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica (Anmat) prohibió y quitó de circulación el fármaco “Ibuflamar-p ibuprofeno con paracetamol”, fabricado por Indoco Remedies Ltd., de Bolivia, ya que la droga no se encuentra registrada en el país, por lo que representa un riesgo potencial para las personas.
Mediante la disposición 6738/2021, publicada este jueves en el Boletín Oficial, el organismo extendió la prohibición a todos los lotes y presentaciones del producto hasta tanto el fabricante y su distribuidora, la firma San Fernando Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada, completen los trámites de registro.
Según señaló la Anmat, el producto es “un medicamento sin registro ante esta autoridad sanitaria, del que se desconoce su procedencia, condiciones de elaboración y que por lo tanto representa un riesgo para la salud de los potenciales pacientes a los que se les pudiera administrar”.
El organismo tomó conocimiento de la circulación de este producto el 1° de julio a raíz de los secuestros realizados por la División de Delitos contra la Salud Pública y Falsificación de Fármacos de la Policía Federal, en el marco de la causa N° 891/2019, caratulada como: “María Fernanda Vargas Gutiérrez y otros s/averiguación de delito”, con intervención de la Fiscalía Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Federal Nº 1.
Posteriormente, la Anmat comprobó que no solo el laboratorio y el distribuidor no contaban con autorización, tampoco el producto Ibuflamar se encontraba en el registro de Especialidades Medicinales (REM). De tal forma, se ordenó su prohibición y se solicitó que sean notificadas todas las autoridades sanitarias provinciales.
Además, la Anmat quitó de circulación otro fármaco, conocido como “Hutrope FlexPen”, una “hormona de crecimiento recombinante” que se puede administrar a partir “de una solución inyectable en dispositivo prellenado para uso subcutáneo”. La entidad tomó la medida, alertada por la firma Eli Lilly Interamérica Inc, quien denunció que se trataba de una falsificación del producto propio denominado “Hutrope”.
También prohibió la circulación de distintas unidades de válvulas cardíacas “Mosaic Ultra”, luego de que la firma importadora Demedic Sociedad Anónima sufriera el robo de cuatro de ellas. Según la información, se encontraban en consignación en el Sanatorio de la Trinidad San Isidro para cubrir cirugías de urgencia.
