Se impone el candidato de Evo en Bolivia

Con más de cinco horas de retraso desde el cierre de las mesas de votación sobre el comienzo del día lunes se dieron a conocer los primeros datos de boca de urna que de momento le dan un amplio triunfo al candidato del Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS), Luis Arce Catacora, quien ganaría en primera vuelta con un 52,4% y accedería de esta manera a la presidencia del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia.

El abultado porcentaje evitaría un eventual ballotage con el aspirante por Comunidad Ciudadana (CC) Carlos Mesa, según informó la encuestadora presidencial Ciesmori difundida por la cadena Unitel. 

En segundo lugar estaría entonces Mesa con 35,5% y en tercera ubicación Luis Fernando Camacho de Creemos, con el 14,1% seguido por Chi Hyun Chung de Frente para la Victoria que alcanza el 1,6% y Feliciano Mamani de Pan-Bol con 0,5%.

En Bolivia para que la presidencia se defina en primera vuelta el candidato electo debería obtener el 50% de los votos válidos, o bien superando el 40%, tener una diferencia de 10 puntos sobre quien quedara segundo.

De esta manera, si bien los cómputos oficiales no se han cargado, el propio Luis Arce ya se pronunció en la madrugada de hoy comprometiéndose a trabajar por todos los bolivianos y a construir un gobierno de unidad.

“Mi compromiso (es) trabajar, de llevar adelante nuestro programa y como lo venimos diciendo vamos a trabajar para todos los bolivianos y vamos a construir un gobierno de unidad nacional, vamos a construir la unidad en nuestro país”, afirmó Arce.

Por su parte, la presidenta de facto de Bolivia, Jeanine Áñez, felicitó al presidente y vicepresidente electo Luis Arce y David Choquehuanca, por haber ganado las elecciones nacionales, según un cómputo extraoficial, al tiempo que les pidió gobernar pensando en Bolivia.

“Aún no tenemos cómputo oficial, pero por los datos con los que contamos, el señor (Luis) Arce y el señor (David) Choquehuanca han ganado la elección. Felicito a los ganadores y les pido gobernar pensando en Bolivia y en la democracia”, escribió desde su cuenta de Twitter.

De esta forma reconoció la victoria del Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS), luego de haber bajado su propia postulación presidencial con un llamado a todo el arco opositor al masismo para que esa fuerza no ganara la elección.

El ex presidente y jefe de campaña del MAS, Evo Morales, desde Buenos Aires, afirmó que el candidato masista, Luis Arce, es el presidente electo de Bolivia.

“Quiero señalar que se ha producido una victoria del MAS-IPSP” y que también se ganó “la mayoría en ambas cámaras del Parlamento Plurinacional”, agregó esta noche, en rueda de prensa desde un hotel porteño.

De esta manera restará contar o bien con la aceptación de la derrota por parte de Carlos Mesa o bien con el avance en la carga de los datos del sistema de consolidación oficial de los resultados por parte del Órgano Plurinacional Electoral, el cual de momento cargó menos de un millón de los sufragios emitidos.
