Gonzalo Ralli: “Es un desafío salir de la grieta que hay entre los géneros de la música electrónica”

Ralli es uno de los referentes de la escena electrónica santarroseña desde hace 15 años, cuando subió por primera vez a una cabina de la que no se bajó más. Fue residente en SKY y V8 durante gran parte de la década pasada y partícipe del cambio sustancial que sufrió la movida local. De lo análogo a lo digital. De las fiestas pequeñas a las productoras de festivales.

–El 2019 fue un año complicado en muchos aspectos pero también hubo nuevas apuestas en la ciudad y el agite en la pista se mantuvo. ¿Cómo fue tu año en cuanto a lo artístico?

Trabajé mucho fuera de Santa Rosa, puntualmente en Gral. Pico. En lugares como Capitano y Bendito Bar. Acá estuve ocasionalmente en eventos realizados en Cine Club y algunos bares. Seguramente lo más relevante fue la creación de Sequence, una productora de música electrónica que iniciamos con un amigo, y de ahí nació Dub Session. Un ciclo de fiestas que en la primera edición tuvimos a Deep Mariano al frente de las bandejas.

Para realizar un evento se necesita dinero y organización, y varias veces sucede que no hay comunicación y se superponen fechas. De esa manera perdemos todos.

–Además de la creación de Sequence, en el último año también emergieron otras productoras y algunas ya existentes se consolidaron, en ese marco posteaste en redes un texto en el cual pedías una mejor convivencia entre las mismas y no confundir al público. ¿Cómo ves hoy esa situación en una escena como la santarroseña?

 El tema de la organización es difícil, porque la mayoría de las veces no existe comunicación entre las productoras y se hacen eventos sobre la marcha de un día para el otro. Y eso confunde un poco a la gente. Nosotros cuando hicimos ese posteo fue con la idea de apoyarnos unos a otros sin dejar de tener en cuenta que esto es un negocio, más allá de la pasión por la música. Para realizar un evento se necesita dinero y organización, y varias veces sucede que no hay comunicación y se superponen fechas. De esa manera perdemos todos. Al ser un público en crecimiento la gente se confunde no sabe quién es quién y eso no está bueno. Con muchos de los pibes de las demás productoras tenemos muy buena onda y vamos a seguir apoyando a organizadores y artistas locales. También es un desafío salir de esa grieta que hay entre géneros de la música electrónica. Poder convivir es posible si se dejan egos de lado y se piensa más en armar eventos dentro del marco legal con seguridad y educando a los que se suman. Es posible lograrlo si vamos todos juntos. Hay muchos jóvenes que se están sumando y eso es muy positivo.

–La escena ha crecido en cuanto a deejays debido en gran parte al acceso a info y las facilidades tecnológicas. ¿De qué manera repercute esto a nivel artístico?

Es verdad, hoy la música está al alcance de todos. Lo que puso Hernán Cattaneo el sábado lo podés tener en tu computadora el lunes. Entonces eso impulsa a muchos chicos a empezar y es algo que está bueno. A esos chicos le recomendaría que se informen bien, que busquen data. Luego de eso que se ocupen de la técnica. Sí tenés la suerte de comenzar con vinilos y compacteras todo te va a resultar más fácil cuando agarres un controlador. Es fundamental darle un lugar a los chicos que vienen detrás de uno. Hay muy buenos Dj’s locales con mucha proyección. Hemos crecido mucho en cuanto a artistas que también se dedican a la producción y eso es un gran paso. Hay mucho potencial y ganas.

–¿Qué diferencias encontrás con el público actual y el de tus comienzos?

Antes era un bardo, pero también es cierto que había una mística especial. De todas maneras no hay que mirar siempre para atrás y caer en la nostalgia. Se está viviendo una muy buena etapa en cuanto a música electrónica. La gente joven se sumó mucho y ahora es la etapa de cuidar a ese público. Dejar de lado prejuicios propios de la electrónica y seguir sumando.

Antes era un bardo, pero también es cierto que había una mística especial.

–¿Cón qué proyectos te encuentra este 2020?

Hay muchas ideas que andan dando vueltas. Voy a seguir yendo a Pico, y acá en Santa Rosa voy a hacer algunas fechas pero esta vez eligiendo un poco más. Para pascuas planeamos realizar otra edición de Dub Session, siempre trayendo algún artista importante. Está también la idea de un ciclo sólo con artistas locales durante el año, y no sólo en fechas particulares. Por ahora en Santa Rosa no voy a ser residente, prefiero ir conociendo y visitando algunas cabinas así no se hace monótono y aburrido.
