El gobierno informó que se vendió el frigorífico de Bernasconi en más de 400 millones de pesos. Dicha operación le permite a la provincia recuperar la inversión original. Los ingresos por la venta “se reinvertirán en incentivar procesos de desarrollo” que contribuyan a “consolidar la diversificación de la matriz de productiva provincial y la generación de trabajo”, explicó el gobernador Sergio Ziliotto. El antecedente de la operación que se realizó con la planta de Bernasconi fue el frigorífico de Speluzzi, en un esquema de participación conjunta del Estado con productores pampeanos.
Ambos requirieron la iniciativa y una fuerte inversión del Estado Provincial para luego transformarse en importantes engranajes de los sistemas productivo y laboral de La Pampa. Hoy, ambos frigoríficos, generan 720 empleos directos.
Las dos plantas fueron parte de una política de estado iniciado por el ingeniero Carlos Verna, que hoy tiene continuidad también en la decisión de poner en producción los galpones de la ex Montenegro.
Ziliotto expreso en este sentido la decisión de seguir “marcando rumbos desde el Estado provincial para incursionar en la economía a partir de emprendimientos estatales que, una vez consolidados, sean desarrollados por el sector privado”.
La venta del frigorífico a la firma HV S.A. se concretó a través del decreto 1.251/2020 en el que se estableció el monto de la operación en 400.523.887.97 pesos, los que se abonarán en un plazo de diez años, con dos de gracia, tal como faculta la Ley N° 2705 en la que se encuadró la operación.
Esta planta forma parte del entramado de frigoríficos estratégicamente distribuidos el territorio provincial, en el que se sustenta el plan gubernamental de fortalecer el sector y captar mercados extranjeros como el europeo o el asiático con un producto que es requerido en el mundo por su excelente calidad.
