En el marco de la situación que atraviesan los argentinos varados en el extranjero producto de las medidas de cierre parcial de fronteras, la directora nacional de Migraciones, Florencia Carignano, advirtió que esos pasajeros firmaron una declaración jurada en la que “asumían las consecuencias” ante un eventual cambio en las condiciones de reingreso al país.
“Hemos advertido que cuando uno firma la declaración jurada, uno asume las responsabilidades. Las personas que decidieron salir lo hicieron aceptando las consecuencias de lo que implica salir en pandemia”, explicó la funcionaria en declaraciones a C5N este lunes 28 de junio.
Carignano subrayó que “no es lindo tomar este tipo de decisiones”, pero dijo que “es preferible a tener que suspender todas las actividades internas por un brote de la variante Delta“.
E insistió: “Firmaron una declaración jurada haciéndose responsables económica y sanitariamente, y también firmaron que aceptaban las condiciones de reingreso que impone la República Argentina”.
De esta manera, la directora de Migraciones defendió que “lo que hemos hecho en una pandemia no es decidir entre lo bueno y lo malo”. “La verdad es que no es lindo tomar este tipo de decisiones. Estamos eligiendo decidir entre lo feo y lo muy feo”, enfatizó.
Por su lado, el gobierno considera que no son varadas las 45.000 personas que fueron afectadas por las restricciones. Hasta el momento, se cancelaron 60 vuelos del 27 de junio al 11 de julio.
En tanto, Carignano afirmó que la decisión se tomó por la “preocupación” que genera la propagación de la variante Delta en varios países del mundo y por el alto nivel de incumplimiento del aislamiento obligatorio de las personas que vuelven del exterior, según pudo verificar el organismo en una serie de inspecciones.
Días atrás, Migraciones advirtió la semana pasada sobre un 40% de incumplimiento de las cuarentenas a partir de operativos de control realizados en varias provincias.
Cuáles son las medidas
El gobierno nacional decidió la semana pasada acotar el regreso al país por vía aérea a un cupo máximo de 600 personas por día, lo que equivale aproximadamente a dos aviones completos. Esta medida se enmarca en el DNU que extendió las restricciones por la pandemia, y se extenderá al menos hasta el próximo 9 de julio.
Sobre este aspecto, la directora de Migraciones admitió que se está trabajando para aumentar el cupo a medida que la situación se estabilice.
“En el control efectivo que estábamos haciendo, nos dábamos cuenta de que la gente no estaba cumpliendo. Los llamábamos, les decíamos que tenían que estar encerrados, y nos decían que no iban a cumplir porque ya estaban vacunados, que tenían PCR negativo, que ya tenían antígenos, etcétera”, lamentó.
De acuerdo la funcionaria, la medida busca ralentizar “todo lo posible” el ingreso de la variante Delta y “vacunar la mayor cantidad de gente posible para que cuando ingrese afecte lo menos posible a la sociedad y a las libertades”.
