El Comité Ejecutivo del COIRCO se reunió hoy de forma virtual, estando La Pampa representada por el secretario de Recursos Hídricos, Néstor Lastiri; el representante alterno ante COIRCO, Juan Greco; el asesor de la Fiscalía de Estado, Ángel Otiñano Lehr, y la asesora letrada de la Secretaría de Recursos Hídricos, Luisina Grandón, y Miguel Demateis.En esta reunión, La Pampa determinó el inicio de la veda en el área de riego de 25 de Mayo a cargo del Ente Provincial del Río Colorado para el día 25 de mayo del corriente año.
Además se entregó documentación suministrada por Aguas del Colorado SAPEM, sobre el avance de obra de descarga de efluentes de la Planta de Pichi Mahuida, teniendo la misma un avance respecto a los originalmente previstos alrededor del 30%. También se entregó documentación sobre la obra desagües cloacales de La Adela y el punto de vuelco sobre el río Colorado. Esta actitud, entiende la provincia de La Pampa, es la que se debe desarrollar en el ámbito de una cuenca interjurisdiccional y la difusión pública de las acciones en la misma.
Se sigue avanzando en la elaboración de un nuevo estudio de distribución de caudales para la cuenca, y en esta reunión se hizo presente el titular del Instituto Nacional del Agua (INA), Juan Carlos Bertoni, a los efectos de ofrecer la colaboración de dicho organismo en este y otros trabajos necesarios para un mejor aprovechamiento de la cuenca del Colorado.
Respecto de la Obra Portezuelo del Viento, Mendoza informó que aún no hubo avances acerca de resolución del sobre N° 2, oportunamente abierto. Sobre el tema se informó sobre la designación de Hernán Pérez Araujo y Romina Schmidt, titular y alterna, en representación de la Provincia para fijar los Términos de Referencia solicitados por el Ministerio del Interior, donde también se ordena someter a consideración del Comité Ejecutivo la revisión de las propuestas realizadas por las provincias en sus sucesivas intervenciones relacionadas con las Normas de Manejo de Aguas y del Procedimiento para el primer llenado y la realización de audiencias públicas en la totalidad de la cuenca, con la mayor cantidad posible de participantes.
