El Ministerio de Salud del Gobierno de La Pampa se informa la llegada de un nuevo cargamento de vacunas Sputnik V contra la COVID-19. Son 3.000 dosis del componente 1 y 1.500 del segundo, destinadas a continuar con el plan original de vacunación, completando progresivamente al personal de salud (público y privado) y a adultos mayores institucionalizados.
Pasadas las 11 arribó al Establecimiento Asistencial Gobernador Centeno la unidad que trasladó 700 vacunas (primeras y segundas dosis) Sputnik V para completar el personal de Salud Pública, de clínicas Regional y Argentina, y también para adultos mayores institucionalizados y personal que los asiste.
Respecto a esta nueva partida de vacunas, la jefa del Servicio de Vacunación, Nélida Urruchuaga, sostuvo ante la Agencia Provincial de Noticias que desde ese lugar coordinamos el trabajo con las residencias, tenemos todos los datos de los internos y de las personas que allí trabajan. Para esto se requiere la autorización del familiar del paciente internado y dentro del personal hay gente que se quiere vacunar y gente que no”.
En General Pico son 24 residencias de adultos mayores, con unas 400 pesonas, precisó Urruchuaga.
La vacunación, en principio, es para General Pico, pero incluye a los hogares de adultos mayores de las localidades de la zona norte. “El balance es muy positivo, se aplicaron 725 dosis y hay mucha demanda, la gente está pidiendo vacunas, principalmente la población en general”, continuó.
A modo de cierre, sostuvo que aún no llegaron las dosis para la población en general pero se esperanzó en que estarán muy pronto disponibles, “no sabemos si seguiremos con la Sputnik o vendrá otra vacuna. Mañana, 8:30 se comienza a vacunar contra COVID”, expresó Urruchuaga, quien se refirió a la vacuna producida en India (Oxford-Astra Zeneca) como una muy buena alternativa, tanto por su manejo a una temperatura no tan baja como también por aplicarse una única dosis.
