Un lote de 400 dosis de la vacuna Sputnik V destinada a profesionales médicos de Olavarría tuvo que ser descartado luego de que se detectara una interrupción de la cadena de frío para su conservación en un freezer del Hospital de Oncología “Luciano Alfredo Fortabat”.
El dato fue confirmado por el Ministerio de Salud y responsables de Zona Sanitaria IX; en este último caso, con detalles que hacen presumir la posibilidad de un hecho intencional, por lo que se presentarán denuncias en la Justicia para abrir una investigación y determinar responsabilidades.
“Constatamos que había una pérdida en la cadena de frío, un desvío”, explicó Ramiro Borzi, director de Zona Sanitaria IX, jurisdicción en cuya órbita se encuentra el establecimiento donde se produjo el descarte de estas vacunas.
El hecho también fue confirmado por el intendente municipal, Ezequiel Galli, que en declaraciones a la prensa insistió en que este inconveniente se originó en un espacio sanitario que pertenece a la administración bonaerense.
Borzi dijo al canal Verte, de Olavarría, que se pudieron advertir varias situaciones sospechosas que permiten especular que se buscó estas consecuencias con las dosis que estaban reservadas a personal médico del distrito, quienes ahora serán vacunado en localidades vecinas.
“Vemos una serie de hechos irregulares, preocupantes y graves”, dijo Borzi y enumeró fallas en la cámara de seguridad que enfocaba al freezer, algunos movimientos extraños en la periferia del hospital, la falta de reporte del personal de seguridad y la ausencia del policía que debía estar en la puerta, cuidando el lugar.
Los directores del hospital, Silvina Rosende y Mario Díaz, presentaron una denuncia penal en la fiscalía, decididos a que se abra una causa para que se sumen testimonios y evidencias que permitan determinar quién pudo estar detrás de los que se cree que fue un sabotaje. En el caso interviene la fiscal Viviana Beytía.
Se da por hecho que los problemas que derivaron en este desvío en la cadena de frío, que debería mantener el producto a -18 grados centígrados, ocurrieron durante la madrugada de este lunes.
La investigación judicial ya está en marcha y en las próximas horas se tomarían declaraciones al personal del área, autoridades y también a trabajadores de distintos servicios relacionados con la seguridad del establecimiento sanitario.
