Ya son 29 los casos detectados de la variante Delta en Argentina

Con la confirmación de siete casos de variante Delta por parte del laboratorio nacional de referencia Anlis Malbrán, el Ministerio de Salud de la Nación informó que a la fecha “se han identificado un total acumulado de 29 secuenciaciones genómicas” de la variante Delta.

Las muestras identificadas con esta variante se relacionan con 28 personas provenientes de Estados Unidos, España, Holanda, México, Montenegro, Panamá, Francia y Venezuela, y un caso con nexo epidemiológico con un viajero, indicó la cartera de Salud en un comunicado oficial.

Con respecto a las personas con antecedente de viaje, el 32% fueron detectados en el dispositivo de testeo al ingreso al país (9 casos) y el 68% (19 casos) fueron positivos durante su aislamiento por haber iniciado síntomas o por la realización de test de PCR al séptimo día de aislamiento.
