A fines de 2015 mediante la ley 2866 se instituye el 20 de julio como “Día de La Pampa”, porque un 20 de julio de 1951 el Congreso de la Nación declaraba provincia al entonces territorio nacional.
El Gobernador de La Pampa, Sergio Ziliotto, recordó el día de la Provincia en sus redes sociales. Fue instituido a partir de 2016. Antriormente se conmemoraba el 16 de octubre de cada año.
“La pampeanidad es hospitalaria, noble, llana, y nos compromete solidariamente. Gracias por compartir tanta responsabilidad en nuestro cuidado”, escribió el primer mandatario en sus redes sociales.
El mandatario saludó los pampeanos y pampeanas y definió como un “gran orgullo” formar parte de esta provincia.
“Es un gran orgullo pertenecer a esta tierra. ¡Felicidades, pampeanas y pampeanos!”, resaltó.
