“Con el 40% de la población vacunada podríamos ver algo de alivio en septiembre”

Después de que el Gobierno haya confirmado que, en las últimas 24 horas, se registraron más de 16 mil casos de COVID-19, la ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti habló sobre un posible alivio con respecto al coronavirus. “Con el 40% de la población vacunada podríamos ver algo de alivio en septiembre”, pero ratificó que “el foco más importante de los contagios son los encuentros sociales”. 

En charla con el programa Hagan Algo, Carla Vizzotti aseguró, por otro lado, lado que con respecto a las negociaciones con otros laboratorios “el ruido de la oposición impacta negativamente en las negociaciones”. Asimismo, la ministra de Salud indicó que en las próximas semanas “nos van adelantar un par de lotes desde México”.  Con respecto a la cantidad de vacunas reafirmó que en las próximas semanas llegarán más dosis tanto de AstraZeneca como de Sputnik V. 

La ministra de Salud, por otro lado, aseguró que actualmente hay un 25% de la población con al menos una dosis. Y añadió que “al fin de julio” espera tener una “gran cantidad de la población vacunada”.  Por otro lado, añadió que con un 40 o 50% de la población vacunadas en Septiembre se puede “ver algo de alivio” y añadió que “está costando transmitir las medidas de cuidado”. 

Con respecto al avance de la vacunación, recordó que tanto Chile como el Reino Unido, lograron que haya una vacunación -y un efecto- con grandes restricciones en la movilidad.
