Luego de un prolongado proceso, que incluyó tanto la definición de criterios de clasificación, como las complejidades del diseño web, finalmente se presenta el catálogo completo de la Editorial Voces en el queda a la vista la intensa tarea desarrollada a lo largo de casi 15 años de actividad.
“El año próximo la Editorial Voces estará celebrando sus quince años de existencia. Quince años de trabajo, de servicio a sus adherentes y a la comunidad pampeana”.
“Como muchas cosas dentro del cooperativismo, ese trabajo colectivo se conduce a diario y en silencio, produciendo una acumulación de capital simbólico y real. Y aunque el sistema de trabajo se revisa constantemente, sólo en contadas ocasiones se tiene ocasión de mirar hacia atrás para comprobar la importancia –y la belleza– de sus resultados”.
“Se decidió también incluir otras ediciones anteriores a 2007 que habían sido encaradas por la CPE antes de fundarse Voces y que fueron, en cierto modo, las simientes de la Editorial de la Cooperativa, demostrando su vocación permanente de apoyo al arte y la cultura”.
“Sólo en ocasión de las distintas ferias del libro se tuvo la oportunidad de ver expuestas en conjunto las obras editadas, que, como un caleidoscopio multicolor, revelan una diversidad acorde con la que se verifica en la creación literaria y musical pampeana. Los libros abarcan virtualmente todos los géneros, desde la poesía a la narrativa (tanto cuentos como novelas), y desde el ensayo hasta la biografía. Próximamente se incorporará también la dramaturgia. En los discos se advierte también un amplio espectro que va desde el rock duro, el pop, y la cancionística, pasando por el folclore regional y el tango, hasta llegar a la música clásica y de películas”.
“Casi invariablemente las obras se presentan en sí como objetos de arte, con cubiertas e interiores que dan cuenta de la ferviente actividad de las artes plásticas y el diseño en nuestro medio”.
“Pero este catálogo es apenas una vidriera inicial. Las ambiciones, para un futuro no muy lejano, son transformar esa página en un verdadero espacio de diálogo con el público local y del mundo. Incorporar la posibilidad de adquirir las obras, incluso en formato digital. Incorporar la posibilidad de asociarse a la Editorial a través de la misma página. Añadir enlaces con otras páginas, de los propios artistas, de medios especializados, de foros de internet”.
“Cuando se fundó Editorial Voces, en un intento por organizar con criterio cooperativo un trabajo de apoyo a la cultura, que la CPE ya venía manifestando desde sus inicios, probablemente no se previó que, tres lustros después, la iniciativa continuaría dando estos frutos”.
“Del mismo modo, este modesto catálogo constituye un primer paso hacia una proyección de este trabajo a través de internet, que al presente se ignora hasta dónde puede llegar”.
“Lo que sí es sabido, es que Voces continuará por la misma senda del trabajo solidario, del respeto por sus lectores y melómanos, por sus artistas y por su identidad cultural. Y por la búsqueda inclaudicable de la calidad en todas sus formas”.
