Utilizan la imagen del Jefe de Policía para realizar estafas por redes sociales

La Policía de La Pampa informó que se ha detectado una nueva modalidad de estafas virtuales mediante el uso de redes sociales, donde se utilizan fotos de perfil de distintos funcionarios públicos, judiciales o policiales. Precisamente hoy, una de ellas se activó utilizando una toma gráfica del jefe de Policía de La Pampa, Héctor Lara.  

Se alertó especialmente que quienes realizan estas estafas utilizan números telefónicos con prefijos y características que no son de la provincia de La Pampa.


La modalidad consiste en contactar con cualquier artimaña o engaño a la víctima, y solicitarle que envíe información específica de su caja de ahorro y datos personales.


Los delincuentes utilizan esta información para extraer dinero de las cuentas y/u obtener préstamos, perjudicando gravemente a la víctima. Para ello usan fotografías de funcionarios públicos, judiciales o policiales, como en el caso detectado hoy. Bajo esa falsa información la persona confía, brinde sus datos y/o se dirija al Cajero Automático a realizar diferentes operaciones.


Se recordó que ninguna entidad bancaria, organismo gubernamental, judicial o policial, se contactará vía telefónica, por mail o por chat para solicitar este tipo de información a la ciudadanía.


Ante la detección de estas situaciones no brinde información de ningún tipo y comuníquese inmediatamente al 101.
