A través del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social se está gestionando y tramitando la construcción de 8 (ocho) Centros de Desarrollo Infantil (CDI) para las localidades de Santa Rosa, Toay, Eduardo Castex, Lonquimay, General Acha, Realicó, Quemú Quemú y 25 de Mayo.
Estas obras se enmarcan en el programa anunciado por el presidente Alberto Fernández, que incluirá 300 centros en todo el país, entre el año 2021 y el 2022, operatoria que llevará a cabo el Ministerio de Desarrollo Social y el Ministerio de Obras Públicas de Nación.
Los CDI incluirán a 28.800 niños y niñas de todo el país, de 45 días a 4 años inclusive, en espacios de educación, cuidado y promoción de derechos. El objetivo es reducir las brechas existentes de pobreza, género e inequidades territoriales, con una inversión total de $ 9.900 millones.
Además de la construcción de los Centros de Desarrollo Infantil, el Ministerio de Desarrollo Social de Nación realizará una inversión para la adquisición de equipamiento e insumos que se concretará a través del Plan Nacional de Primera Infancia. Asimismo, se garantizó el pago de becas por cantidad de niños y niñas, asegurando con estos fondos asistencia técnica y formación del personal.
Por otra parte, cada municipio, será responsable del cumplimiento de los requerimientos detallados y deberá solventar la sostenibilidad con presupuesto propio de los recursos humanos necesarios para su operatividad y mantenimiento edilicio futuro.
