Los casos de Covid siguen rompiendo récords en el país: hoy casi 40 mil nuevos positivos

El Ministerio de Salud de la Nación informó este miércoles que, en las últimas 24 horas, se registraron 494 muertes -récord para una jornada- y 39.652 nuevos contagios de coronavirus. Con estas cifras, el total de infectados asciende a 3.411.160 y las víctimas fatales son 72.265.

Desde el gobierno nacional detallaron que en las últimas 24 horas la provincia de Formosa notificó 5.016 casos, de los cuales 1071 son de este miércoles y 3945 casos corresponden a la actualización de sus notificaciones de casos de meses previos pendientes de carga en el Sistema Nacional de Vigilancia de la Salud.

Por otra parte, en las últimas 24 horas fueron realizados 125.578 testeos, con un 31,57% de positividad. Desde el inicio del brote, se llevaron a cabo 12.728.157 pruebas diagnósticas para esta enfermedad. A la fecha, se registran 329.745 casos positivos activos en todo el país y 3.009.150 recuperados.

De acuerdo al parte epidemiológico, de momento en Argentina hay 5.877 personas -récord de ocupación- con coronavirus internadas en terapia intensiva. El porcentaje de ocupación de camas a nivel nacional es del 72% y en el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA) del 76,4%.

“Por supuesto que se está evaluando intensificar las medidas, pero también hay medidas que están vigentes pero no se están cumpliendo”, explicó esta mañana la ministra de Salud de la Nación, Carla Vizzotti.

“Nosotros estamos transmitiendo la importancia del rol individual, evitar las reuniones sociales y encuentros en lugares cerrados, que están prohibidos pero se siguen haciendo”, expresó la funcionaria en diálogo con El Destape Radio.

“Con este nivel de circulación de personas y este nivel de circulación de virus, si nosotros no logramos transmitir a la población que tiene que bajar la circulación, que se tienen que minimizar las salidas y hacer solamente las esenciales, el riesgo del aumento de casos es muy concreto. La comunidad ha normalizado el número de casos y de fallecidos”, continuó.
