Alberto Fernández: “hoy en día las clases presenciales son un riesgo creciente”

Tras una agitada agenda en su viaje por el continente europeo, el presidente de la República Argentina, Alberto Fernández, brindó sus sensaciones sobre este punto, al tiempo que analizó la situación epidemiológica del país. 

Al respecto de esto último, el mandatario partió por advertir que si el Congreso no sanciona la ley de emergencia Covid la “única alternativa” será que un Decreto de Necesidad y Urgencia (DNU) “vuelva a poner en vigencia las restricciones” para mitigar los contagios de coronavirus.

“Si no está la ley, la única alternativa es que un DNU vuelva a poner en vigencia las restricciones, que son muy necesarias”, marcó Fernández en diálogo con C5N.

En esta línea, el presidente repasó que “en los lugares donde se cumplieron” las normas, como en el Gran Buenos Aires, “la caída de los casos fue más significativa” que en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, donde “las clases siguieron y los controles fueron más relajados”.

Al respecto, destacó que “en muchos lugares que renegaron de los cierres tienen un crecimiento de casos singular”, tras lo cual aclaró: “Quisiera que cada argentino entienda que no es que yo estoy empeñado en que los chicos no vayan a clases, es más, estoy muy dolorido”.

“Es mucho más efectivo dar las clases de modo presencial que por Zoom, todo eso lo entiendo” dijo, y señaló que lo que quiere que la sociedad comprenda es que “hoy en día las clases presenciales son un riesgo creciente”.

Por otra parte, resaltó su balance “claramente positivo” de la gira por Europa, donde visitó distintos países para buscar apoyo en la renegociación de la deuda.

“Es un balance claramente positivo porque aquello que nos propusimos lo hemos logrado, que era pedirle a Europa que prestara particular atención a lo que estaba pasando en la negociación de Argentina con el FMI, la necesidad de que nos acompañe en aquellos que nos preocupa: tratar de buscar más tiempo en los plazos de pagos; eso va a demandar más tiempo pero insistimos en plantear y corregir”, detalló. 

Fernández sostuvo además que propuso al FMI la necesidad de “revisar la sobretasa, que es una tasa adicional que pagan aquellos países que han excedido su cupo crediticio”. “Eso es exactamente lo que le pasó a Argentina cuando tomó el crédito”, sostuvo el jefe de Estado, y graficó que “como consecuencia de eso nosotros hoy, en vez de estar pagando un punto de interés, estamos pagando tres”.

“El mundo debe revisar esas prácticas que son muy nocivas para los países de renta media”, cerró el líder del frente De Todos, advirtiendo además que los plazos de la negociación con el organismo financiero llevarán tiempo.
