Nación presentó Plan con 200 compromisos para la “Igualdad en la diversidad”

El jefe de Gabinete de Ministros, Santiago Cafiero, encabezó este miércoles el acto de presentación del Plan de Igualdad en la Diversidad en el que están plasmados unos 200 compromisos y políticas públicas que ya comenzaron a llevar adelante 19 ministerios del Poder Ejecutivo y 8 organismos descentralizados de la administración nacional.

“Hay muchos que siguen lucrando con la desesperanza, con generar más miedo donde hay miedo. Nosotros elegimos el camino de la esperanza, el de la vacuna”, dijo Cafiero esta mañana durante la actividad realizada en el Museo del Bicentenario de Casa Rosada.

El nuevo plan concentra las diversas políticas impulsadas desde el ministerio que conduce Elizabeth Gómez Alcorta y que ya comenzaron a desarrollar distintas unidades gubernamentales para reducir la desigualdad que afecta cotidianamente a mujeres y disidencias.

Luego de describir la potencia del movimiento feminista para alcanzar nuevas conquistas en el siglo XXI, el ministro coordinador destacó “la determinación del presidente Alberto Fernández”, que no sólo decidió la creación de un espacio gubernamental para avanzar en la institucionalización de las reivindicaciones, sino que dotó de presupuesto y transversalidad a esas políticas.

“Esto es un logro, y así lo tenemos que percibir. Mucho se habló cuando el Presidente anunció la creación del ministerio, aún estando en campaña. Muchos hablaban como si fuera un golpe de efecto, casi que iba a ser un ámbito de entretenimiento, pensando de una manera prejuiciosa sobre la palabra del Presidente y de nuestro movimiento. No es un anuncio que el próximo presupuesto va a tener una mirada de género, este ya lo tiene”, ejemplificó.

Cafiero señaló que la oficina que conduce Gómez Alcorta “llegó para abrir las puertas y escuchar otras voces, para un montón de demandas” que muchas veces están silenciadas en la agenda pública.

En ese sentido, recordó a Eva Perón, la destacó como “bandera para hacer una sociedad más justa” y afirmó que en la Casa Rosada se tiene un “fiel convencimiento” para “avanzar” con más conquistas.

Ponderó además haber conseguido que el 37% de los puestos jerárquicos en el Estado esté en manos de mujeres y aclaró que si bien se trata de “un récord histórico”, reconoció que “aún falta mucho”.

“Las políticas de diversidad tienen que ser Políticas de Estado”, subrayó Cafiero y añadió que para llevarlo adelante se necesita del “músculo” que no garantiza “el mercado”.

Por su parte, la titular del Ministerio de las Mujeres, Géneros y Diversidad dijo que el plan presentado “tiene alma” y que fue alimentado por el trabajo federal y participativo de miles de personas durante más de un año.

“Hace un año atrás presentamos el Plan Nacional contra las Violencias y hoy nos toca presentar el primer plan de Igualdad”, señaló la funcionaria, quien recordó cómo se trabaja coordinadamente contra los femicidios y otras formas de ataques materiales y simbólicos que sufren mujeres y disidencias, poniendo como ejemplo el caso de Tehuel de la Torre, el joven trans que lleva 2 meses desaparecido.

“Nosotros como ministerio venimos haciendo el seguimiento del caso con todas las actuaciones judiciales y en el Sistema Federal de Búsqueda de Personas que depende del Ministerio de Seguridad. Participamos de las reuniones con la familia, en el acompañamiento y la investigación. El Poder Judicial está haciendo la investigación y nosotros visibilizando para mostrar que el caso de Tehuel no es aislado, sino que tiene que ver con una situación estructural “, señaló.

Gómez Alcorta añadió que el camino de la igualdad impone “un desafío ambicioso para los próximos años” y destacó algunas políticas que -en ese sentido- ya se encuentran en marcha, como el gabinete nacional para la transversalización de la temática de género, el presupuesto con perspectiva que contemple la mitigación de la desigualdad, o el cupo laboral travesti trans, entre otras.
