El subsecretario de Deportes, Recreación y Turismo Social del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social de la Provincia, Ceferino Almudévar, fue elegido para presidir el Ente Patagónico del Deporte (EPADE) por los próximos dos años.
La elección del funcionario pampeano se produjo por unanimidad en la reunión que se llevó a cabo en Neuquén, para debatir cuestiones inherentes a las políticas deportivas de la región y anunciar la realización simultánea de los Juegos Para EPADE y ParaAraucanía en dicha Provincia del 17 al 22 de octubre de este año.
En este marco, Almudévar, quien estuvo acompañado por el director de Políticas Deportivas, Fernando Porlay, participó de la recorrida por las instalaciones de la Ciudad Deportiva en donde se realizarán las competencias de atletismo y natación de la que participarán jóvenes pampeanos.
Los representantes del Gobierno provincial también formaron parte de la reunión del Comité Ejecutivo en la que se dieron a conocer los protocolos de bioseguridad, alojamiento, comidas, seguridad y salud para los deportistas mientras dure el evento, que cumplirá así con su tercera edición luego de las desarrolladas en La Pampa (la primera) y Chubut.
El encuentro también sirvió para debatir sobre la articulación de políticas deportivas regionales para presentar ante Nación, y sobre los Juegos EPADE que tendrán lugar en La Pampa a fines de este año.
Además de Almudévar, estuvieron los referentes máximos deportivos de las seis provincias patagónicas: Diego Rosatti (secretario de Deportes de Río Negro), Gustavo Hernández (presidente de la Agencia Chubut Deportes), Martín López (secretario de Estado de Deporte y Recreación de Santa Cruz), Carlos Turdó (secretario de Deporte y Juventud de Tierra del Fuego) y Luis Sánchez (ministro de Deportes de Neuquén).
