En el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer, el presidente Alberto Fernández junto a gobernadores de todas las provincias, se comprometen a “integrar el Consejo Federal para la prevención y el abordaje de femicidios, travesticidios y transfemicidios; a adherir al Sistema Único de Registro de denuncias por violencia de género (URGE) y al Sistema Integrado de casos de violencia por motivos de género (SICVG), y a jerarquizar y fortalecer las áreas de género provinciales y municipales”.

Violencia de Género: Policías denunciados no tendrán armas en La Pampa

Se buscará “promover una rápida, coordinada y especializada gestión de los casos de violencias por motivos de género en el Poder Judicial de cada provincia; y fortalecer los espacios de formación y capacitación en perspectiva de género para las fuerzas policiales y generar mecanismos que faciliten la realización de denuncias en casos que involucren a miembros de las fuerzas de seguridad”.

También se comprometen a “garantizar que los establecimientos de salud cuenten con equipos interdisciplinarios que aseguren un adecuado abordaje de los casos de violencia por motivos de género”.

Para eso, los distritos trabajarán de manera coordinada y conjunta con el Ministerio de las Mujeres, Géneros y Diversidad de la Nación, articulando recursos, políticas y acciones en el marco del Plan Nacional de Acción contra la violencia por motivos de género 2020-2022.

El año pasado, el Gobierno del Frente de Todos elaboró el primer presupuesto con perspectiva de género para mitigar las desigualdades entre mujeres y varones.

De esa forma, el proyecto de Presupuesto 2021 contempló partidas por un monto total de 1,3 billón para distintas áreas de gobierno que llevan adelante políticas de género a través de programas destinados a la prevención y erradicación de la violencia contra las mujeres y personas LGTBI+, junto con acciones orientadas a disminuir las brechas de desigualdad.

El presupuesto contempló gastos por un monto estimado en $8 billones y las partidas destinadas a políticas de género representan el 15,2% del total, por un monto equivalente al 3,4% del Producto Bruto Interno (PBI).

Los fondos están destinados a políticas de género y se encuentran diferenciadas a través de la categoría “Igualdad de Géneros” que visibiliza aquellos programas destinados a la prevención y erradicación de la violencia contra las mujeres y personas LGTBI+.

En el Día Internacional de la Mujer se recuerda al 8 de marzo de 1908, cuando un suceso transcendental marcó la historia del trabajo y la lucha sindical en el mundo entero: 129 mujeres murieron en un incendio en la fábrica Cotton, de Nueva York, Estados Unidos, luego de que se declararan en huelga con permanencia en su lugar de trabajo.
