Protestas en Formosa por volver a fase 1 de la cuarentena

Tras la decisión del Gobierno de Formosa de volver a la Fase 1 de la cuarentena en la capital provincial, vecinos salieron a las calles a rechazar la medida, lo que generó incidentes que fueron reprimidos por la Policía local. Las protestas comenzaron en la noche del pasado jueves y continuaron en la mañana de este viernes.

La Gobernación formoseña, a cargo de Gildo Insfrán, había establecido que la ciudad capital volvía a Fase 1 hasta el 18 de marzo tras un nuevo brote de contagios de coronavirus. La medida fue rechazada por los comerciantes, ya que la restricción afectará las economías de sus locales.

Desde el comienzo de la pandemia, Formosa acumula 1300 casos de coronavirus, con una población de cerca de 600 mil habitantes, y fue una de las últimas provincias junto con Catamarca en registrar su primer caso. Por la aparición de 17 casos en la capital provincial el gobernador decidió endurecer las medidas. 

Luego de que los vecinos salieran a las calles, se produjeron enfrentamientos con la Policía de Formosa, que reprimió a los manifestantes con balas de goma y gases lacrimógenos y dispuso vallados en inmediaciones de la Casa de Gobierno local. arios manifestantes resultaron heridos por el accionar de los uniformados.
