Falleció la familia de una mujer que ocultó que tenía coronavirus

Durante los últimos días se dio a conocer la noticia de que falleció una familia de cinco personas por coronavirus en Táchira, Venezuela, siendo la madre la que lo contrajo en diciembre del año pasado y no lo avisó a su entorno.

Según comentó la prensa local, la mujer, de nombre Verónica, se enteró de su positividad después de realizarse un test rápido en un Centro de Diagnóstico Integral, pero decidió guardar silencio e informar a su familia que sólo tenía “una gripe muy fuerte”.

Fue el 27 de diciembre cuando su esposo José Antonio asistió a una reunión familia y ella decidió llamarlo para que volviera, pues había dado positivo de coronavirus y podía contagiar a otras personas. Al enterarse, tanto él como sus hijos se realizaron tests de COVID-19 que dieron negativo, pero su esposa empeoró y tuvo que ser hospitalizada.

Posteriormente, los cuatro volvieron a testearse, dando positivo. El 16 de enero, José Antonio fue hospitalizado y, a los dos días, falleció Verónica. El 19 de enero, el hospital registró el deceso del marido y el empeoramiento de la salud de los hijos, quienes, a los pocos días, también fallecieron.
