Se perdieron 272 mil empleos en relación de dependencia en 75 días

La llegada del coronavirus profundizó la crisis económica que atravesaba el país y, en consecuencia, la destrucción de puestos de trabajo. Según un informe elaborado por la consultora Data Driven en base a datos de la AFIP, más de 272.000 empleados formales (“en blanco”) en relación de dependencia perdieron su trabajo entre febrero y mayo de este año. Además, advirtió que en el quinto mes del año la cantidad de trabajadores cotizantes del Sistema Integrado Previsional Argentino (SIPA) cayó casi 1,75 millones en el último año.

En el análisis por sectores, en variaciones porcentuales, las actividades más golpeadas fueron Construcción (-31,2%), Cultura y Esparcimiento (-14,8%), Hoteles y Restaurantes (-11,4%) y Servicios Inmobiliarios (-9,3%).

Según la publicación, en el ítem “pérdida de empleo registrado acumulada”, se destaca en mayo una caída anual del 23,9% para los asalariados, del 19% para los autónomos y del 6,9% para los monotributistas. Desde diciembre, esas caídas fueron del 19,8%, 25,9% y 10,3%, respectivamente.

“En mayo la cantidad de trabajadores cotizantes del Sistema Integrado Previsional Argentino (SIPA) cayó 1.747.878 respecto de mismo mes de 2019. La baja porcentual fue de casi 20 puntos porcentuales (-19,8%)”, señala el informe. Desde enero, la merma en ese rubro fue de un 16%.
