Ramona Medina, la vocera de la Garganta Poderosa que era insulinodependiente y fue uno de los casos de contagio de coronavirus en la villa 31 de Retiro, murió este domingo en un hospital de la Ciudad a los 42 años.
La mujer estuvo tres días internada, junto a toda su familia que también contrajo el COVID-19, entre ellos una hija con discapacidad múltiple, según informó la organización.
“Nos mataron a Ramona”, es el título del texto que posteó Nacho Levy. El referente de la Garganta Poderosa cuestionó duramente a las autoridades por la falta de respuesta “cuando dejaron 12 días al barrio sin agua” y también cuando contó que estaba con “7 personas de riesgo viviendo hacinadas”.
En su posteo, Levy apuntó también a la “postergación por cuatro años” de la relocalización de su familia, la no identificación de los “grupos de riesgo” al interior del barrio, la “falta de insumos en todas las postas de salud”, “los programas fantasmas” para “maquillar la realidad”, la corrupción, la falta de asistencia a los enfermos y el aislamiento tardío de la primera fallecida.
Hasta el día de hoy 17 de mayo se registraron en Argentina 7.805casos de infectados y 363 muertos. Estas cifras son actualizadas diariamente por el Gobierno nacional. Durante las últimas horas las autoridades sanitarias confirmaron otros 327 nuevos casos de coronavirus en Argentina.
Ramona era coordinadora de Salud de la Casa de la Mujer en el Barrio 31, y brindó varias entrevistas reclamando por el restablecimiento del servicio de agua potable y denunciando los riesgos de contraer el virus.
“¡Ramona no se murió! A Ramona la mataron los dueños del silencio, los cómplices de la indiferencia, los mudos de la justicia, ¡la mataron! Y ahora quién carajo nos explica cómo seguir, cómo seguirá su familia íntegramente internada, cómo seguirán sus hijas Maia y Guada, en silla de ruedas, contagiada, con oxígeno, con discapacidad, sin hablar, totalmente dependiente, ¡ahora sin su mamá!”, añadió.
Es que en su casa de la manzana 35 casa 79 donde vivía habitan también “una hija diabética, un suegro con problemas coronarios y otra hija en silla de ruedas, que no habla, no camina, no mantiene postura y requiere oxígeno nocturno, porque tiene síndrome de West y síndrome de Aicardi, una patología que le genera convulsiones refractarias no evolutivas”, había explicado Levy.
Hasta ahora el gobierno de la Ciudad había informado nueve muertes en barrios vulnerables de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires desde el inicio de la pandemia.
Con la confirmación de 113 nuevos casos positivos en las últimas 24 horas, los diagnósticos de coronavirus ascendieron a 1.201 en esos barrios, de los cuales 141 ya se recuperaron, según informó esta mañana la administración de Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.
