Las mismas fuentes explicaron que la prórroga se logró gracias a un buen diálogo con las empresas, y que se buscarán los instrumentos para trabajar sobre la estructura de costos y que el listado no tenga incrementos en los precios que pagan los consumidores. Así, en góndolas continuarán los precios que rigen desde el 6 de marzo.
La medida no es casual. El precio de los alimentos creció en abril un 3,2% y más que duplicó el nivel general de la inflación, ubicada en 1,5%, según datos dados a conocer ayer por el INDEC.
Durante el mes pasado, los mayores aumentos de ese rubro fueron liderados por la naranja con un 57,2% y la cebolla con un alza del 31,6%. En tanto, los precios de carnes mostraron incrementos por encima del nivel general dado que la paleta aumentó un 8,9%, el kilo de cuadril saltó un 6,1% y el de picada subió 5,8%.
El queso cremoso, por su parte, expuso un ajuste al alza equivalente a 9,2% en abril respecto de marzo. En los últimos doce meses, el costo de los alimentos y bebidas aumentó un 52,2%, al tiempo que desde diciembre trepó un 15,2%.
De acuerdo con los datos oficiales, en abril fue el rubro de alimentos y bebidas no alcohólicas el que más subió, seguido por Recreación y Cultura con 2,3%, Prendas de vestir y calzado junto a restaurantes con 1,5%, seguido por Bebidas alcohólicas y tabaco con 1,4%.
La preocupación del Gobierno por la suba de precios quedó reflejada esta mañana cuando el ministro de Desarrollo Social, Daniel Arroyo, aseguró que en los barrios más pobres “los alimentos de la canasta básica subieron aún más” que en el resto de los sectores, ante lo cual señaló que se está “evaluando” la posibilidad de aumentar el monto de la tarjeta alimentaria.
