La decisión del Gobierno de intervenir y expropiar la empresa alimentaria Vicentín generó elogios y críticas de distintos actores de la política y la economía. Entre el bloque de disidentes se ubicó la Sociedad Rural Argentina (SRA), entidad que manifestó su “suma preocupación” por lo ocurrido.
A través de un comunicado, la SRA expresó: “La Sociedad Rural Argentina ve con suma preocupación la intervención al Grupo Vicentin vía DNU, así como su eventual expropiación a través del proyecto de ley que se enviará al Congreso”.
“La historia nos demuestra que las intervenciones del Estado en el comercio de granos en particular y los mercados agropecuarios en general han creado siempre severas distorsiones, que terminaron provocando problemas más graves que los que se pretendía solucionar”, sostuvo la entidad agrícola.
Por último, el texto explica que “el Estado, a través de la Justicia, cuenta con los medios e instrumentos para canalizar el concurso preventivo de este importante operador del mercado de granos y al mismo tiempo fortalecer las instituciones y los derechos de propiedad”.
El comunicado mediante el cual la Sociedad Rural Argentina expresa “suma preocupación” por la expropiación de Vicentín.
La respuesta de la Sociedad Rural llega luego de que el presidente Alberto Fernández anunciara la intervención y expropiación del Grupo Vicentín, en una medida que “favorece para lograr soberanía alimentaria”, según expresó el mandatario.
Fernández explicó que la decisión se tomó como consecuencia de la grave crisis financiera que atraviesa ese conglomerado alimenticio, cuyo principal acreedor es el Estado. El interventor designado por el Ejecutivo es el doctor en Finanzas y Economía Agropecuaria, Gabriel Delgado.
La decisión de expropiar la empresa comenzó a cocinarse a partir de una denuncia contra el expresidente del Banco Nación durante el gobierno de Mauricio Macri, Javier González Fraga, por un préstamo de $18.500 millones al holding agrícola, que fue el principal aportante a la campaña presidencial de Juntos por el Cambio en el 2019.
