La Pampa se encuentra entre las provincias que registran el mayor crecimiento en la demanda de energía eléctrica, con un 7 % de aumento durante julio en comparación con el mismo mes del año pasado. El dato se inscribe en un fenómeno generalizado en casi todo el país y que, en el caso particular del área de concesión de la CPE, representó en agosto, un incremento del 9,4 % respecto de lo demandado en agosto de 2020. Este porcentaje se encuentra por encima del incremento del 8,7 % en la demanda de energía eléctrica a nivel mayorista registrado el mes pasado en comparación con igual período de 2020 en el orden nacional, según un informe difundido recientemente por la Fundación para el Desarrollo Eléctrico (Fundelec).
De acuerdo con el relevamiento de esa entidad, los primeros ocho meses del año muestran un sostenido aumento en el consumo eléctrico del orden del 4,9% respecto del mismo lapso del año pasado y –detalla– “es la primera vez, durante el último año, que se dan cinco meses consecutivos de ascenso”. Para el mismo período, en el caso de la CPE, de acuerdo a datos de su Gerencia del Servicio Eléctrico, el consumo registró un aumento del 2,85 % en comparación con enero-agosto de 2020.
En el desglose del tipo de demanda que impulsa esta recuperación aparecen las actividades industriales, comerciales y el consumo residencial como los de mayor relevancia. La demanda residencial, que representó el 47 % del total del país en agosto, tuvo un crecimiento del 5 % respecto del mismo mes del año anterior. Los usuarios residenciales del área abastecida por la CPE, cuyo consumo representó el 49 % del total, demandaron un 0,81% más en agosto de 2021 que en agosto de 2020.
En el caso de la Cooperativa, el mayor incremento interanual (agosto 201 vs agosto 2020) lo registró el sector oficial, con un 25 %, aunque su consumo representó el 6 % del total. La demanda de usuarios comerciales, que representaron el 17 % del total, tuvo un aumento del 13%, por encima del 8% que se dio a nivel nacional según el informe de Fundelec.
Por su parte el consumo de usuarios de grandes potencias (principalmente industriales y algunos comerciales y oficiales) que, en el área de la CPE representaron el 23% de la demanda total y que aumentó en agosto un 17%, el mismo porcentaje de incremento registrado a nivel nacional por el sector.
