La titular de la Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos (AFIP), Mercedes Marcó del Pont, afirmó hoy que las políticas de protección de la producción y el empleo permitieron que la economía atraviese “una etapa de recuperación de bases más sólidas, que vino para quedarse”.
La titular de la AFIP se reunió con los socios de la Cámara de Comercio de Estados Unidos en Argentina (AmCham) y abordaron los posibles espacios de cooperación para potenciar el desarrollo de la Argentina haciendo especial foco en el sistema tributario, laboral, aduanero y en el desarrollo económico en general.
Durante la presentación, la titular de la AFIP remarcó que “la coordinación al interior del gabinete permitió diseñar e implementar las políticas públicas que amortiguaron el impacto económico de la pandemia. Logramos tener la capacidad de respuesta y adaptación para proteger a las empresas y garantizar el ingreso de los trabajadores y las trabajadoras”.
En ese sentido, Marcó del Pont sostuvo que el Gobierno acompañó “a todas las empresas y sus trabajadores durante esta crisis sin precedentes”.
“No solo las asistimos en el pago de los salarios sino también en términos financieros con la vuelta del crédito productivo. También implementamos medidas como la moratoria que implicó una reducción muy relevante de la carga fiscal”.
Durante su intervención Marcó del Pont destacó que “nos encontramos en un sendero de desinflación que si bien es más lento que el esperado, es un camino que está acompañado por la recuperación del mercado interno”. Asimismo, la titular de la AFIP sostuvo que “estamos frente a un escenario cambiario sostenible. No hay riesgo de devaluación ni antes ni después de las elecciones”.
Además, la funcionaria afirmó que “se tomaron muchas medidas para preservar el trabajo y salvar capacidades productivas, la reactivación económica va a ser impulsada por el mercado interno.”
“Ya empezamos una etapa de recuperación que tiene bases más sólidas, que vino para quedarse, que es sostenible en el tiempo, pero que además es posible gracias a todas las políticas de protección de las capacidades productivas y del empleo”, enfatizó Marco del Pont.
“Miramos el futuro con optimismo, pero no un optimismo voluntarista sino a partir de los datos y las evidencias del diálogo que estamos teniendo con todos los sectores”, finalizó.
AmCham Argentina -la Cámara de Comercio de Estados Unidos en Argentina- es una organización no gubernamental, que nuclea a más 600 empresas que emplean unas 400.000 personas en sus más de 200 plantas industriales distribuidas en todo el país.
