El Ministerio de Desarrollo Social informó que la aparición de mensajes en la red de whatsapp citando a personas a asistir a cajeros automáticos con una supuesta clave para concretar un trámite bancario de dicho Ministerio, corresponde a una maniobra totalmente fraudulenta, advirtiendo a la ciudadanía desestimar dicha gestión.
La modalidad, que consiste en contactar con cualquier artimaña o engaño a la víctima y solicitarle que envíe información específica de su caja de ahorro y datos personales utilizan habitualmente esta información para extraer dinero de las cuentas.
Se recuerda que ninguna entidad bancaria, organismo gubernamental, judicial o policial, se contactará vía telefónica, por mail o por chat para solicitar este tipo de información a la ciudadanía. Ante la detección de estas situaciones se recomienda no brindar información de ningún tipo y comunicarse inmediatamente al número de teléfono 101.
