La víctima fue identificada como Walter Navarro, de 32 años de edad. Mientras que el atacante fue identificado como Marcos Ariel Navarro, de 25 años de edad.
El mayor de los Navarro recibió una puñalada mortal de parte de su hermano Marcos en la zona intercostal. “Por ahora no sabemos bien qué desató al intercambio de palabras y la posterior agresión”, apuntó el fiscal.

Un hecho curioso, el cual pudo ser doblemente trágico, fue cuando agentes de la policía se dirigieron a la casa del padre de los Navarro ubicada en el barrio de Villa Parque para avisarle del hecho de sangre. Allí, lo encontraron junto a su hijo menor de 17 años, ambos inconscientes por estar intoxicados con monóxido de carbono.
Inmediatamente llamaron a la Policía y al SEM que realizó el rescate, cuando comprobaron que eran signos de intoxicación por monóxido de carbono. En el lugar había un brasero de leña que consumió el oxígeno.
