Denunciaron por acoso sexual a un entrenador de fútbol femenino argentino

Un grupo de jugadoras de fútbol argentinas denunciaron ante la Comisión de Ética de la FIFA a un entrenador por acoso sexual y maltrato.

Así lo comunicó hoy FIFPRO, organismo que defiende los derechos de las y los futbolistas a nivel internacional.

“FIFPRO se encuentra asistiendo a múltiples reconocidas jugadoras de Argentina, quienes han elevado una denuncia a la Comisión de Ética de la FIFA respecto al muy preocupante comportamiento, durante años, de un entrenador actualmente empleado por la Asociación del Fútbol Argentino“, inicia el comunicado oficial.

En el mismo, se indica que “las futbolistas han aportado evidencia a la Comisión de Ética de la FIFA, en la que se describe detalladamente cómo el entrenador en cuestión utilizó su posición de poder para intimidar y acosar sexualmente a distintas adolescentes, alguna incluso de 14 años, que se encontraban en la búsqueda de concretar su sueño de convertirse en futbolistas“.

Las jóvenes afectadas aseguran haber sido “víctimas de amenazas y comentarios sexuales de explícita y violenta naturaleza“.

“Debido a la extrema seriedad de estas ofensas, FIFPRO ha solicitado a la FIFA la inmediata destitución del entrenador de su cargo en el que podría acceder y ejercer poder sobre menores“, indicó el organismo con sede en Países Bajos.

La respuesta de la AFA

Ante el comunicado emitido en el día de la fecha por FIFPRO y tomado por medios periodísticos argentinos, por el cual se pone en conocimiento que un colectivo de jugadoras argentinas habría efectuado una denuncia ante la Comisión de Ética de la FIFA contra un entrenador de fútbol femenino de la AFA, esta Asociación aclara ante la opinión pública que de conformidad con la normativa vigente del ente rector mundial del fútbol no somos parte dentro del proceso señalado, y en virtud a la confidencialidad del mismo desconocemos tanto la identidad de la persona denunciada como la de sus denunciantes.

Sin perjuicio de ello, resulta menester señalar que AFA brindará toda la colaboración necesaria en la investigación en caso de que el órgano competente de FIFA así lo requiera y acatará de manera total y absoluta la resolución que se dicte al cabo del proceso.

La Asociación del Fútbol Argentino seguirá atentamente la evolución de la denuncia mencionada y en atención a la gravedad de la misma tomará con firmeza todas las medidas que correspondan, como viene haciendo a lo largo de esta gestión, a fin de proteger la integridad de nuestras futbolistas.
