Desde la Dirección General de Defensa Civil se informó que en el día de ayer se controló un incendio en el predio rural “Las Jarillas” ubicado en la zona de El Durazno. En el mismo desempeñaron tareas dos cuadrillas de Defensa Civil y se vieron afectadas alrededor de 250 hectáreas.
El fuego fue combatido ágilmente por el personal de la dirección quien acudió rápidamente al lugar y, luego de una inspección, intervino de acuerdo a lo que la situación demandaba, logrando una respuesta rápida y efectiva.
En el lugar trabaja además el área técnica que realiza las correspondientes evaluaciones para determinar el terreno total afectado. Los primeros análisis confirmaron que se a causa del siniestro se vieron afectadas alrededor de 250 hectáreas.
