Esta mañana se lanzó el programa Cuidar Vidas para prevenir siniestros viales, en la temporada de verano 2020/21. El mismo se ejecutará sobre las rutas pampeanas a partir de hoy en vísperas de fiestas y vacaciones, y se extenderá hasta la primera semana de marzo.
El anuncio oficial tuvo lugar en la Ruta Nacional N° 35 sobre el acceso a los estudios de Canal 3 Televisión Pública Pampeana, encabezado por el ministro de Seguridad, Horacio di Nápoli, acompañado por el ministro de Salud, Mario Kohan, el jefe de Policía, Héctor Lara, y el intendente de Toay, Rodolfo Álvarez.
Formaron parte del lanzamiento oficial el subsecretario de Seguridad Ciudadana, Agustín García, el director de Seguridad Vial, Fernando Funes, el subjefe, René Bossio, el subsecretario de Lucha Contra el Narcotráfico, Néstor Fontan, el director de Relaciones Institucionales, Héctor Iervasi y demás representantes de las áreas intervinientes en el programa Cuidar Vidas; Policía de Seguridad Aeroportuaria, Policía Federal Argentina, Gendarmería Nacional Argentina, Comisión Nacional de Regulación del Transporte – La Pampa, Comisión Nacional de Regulación del Transporte – Patagonia, Agencia Nacional de Seguridad Vial y Fundación Estrellas Amarillas.
Dicho programa se enmarca en el contexto de pandemia, donde el personal policial asume un rol preponderante a la hora de hacer a la seguridad de todos los pampeanos.
Esta política de Estado del Gobierno de La Pampa se debe a la gran cantidad de vehículos que circulan durante el período de vacaciones,. Este año estará enmarcado en el turismo responsable por la situación sanitaria que atraviesa el país. A través de este programa se realizarán operativos de seguridad vial, seguridad ciudadana, lucha contra el narcotráfico, campañas de prevención, entre otros, que hacen a una integralidad.
Para el operativo fueron asignados 200 efectivos de la Policía provincial distribuidos en 20 Puestos Camineros limítrofes e internos, de los cuales 15 son limítrofes y cinco internos. Los mismos están distribuidos estratégicamente en las rutas pampeanas con la finalidad de hacer a la seguridad de todos los que transiten por ellas. Además, se colocarán puestos de control indispensables en El Flechillar, El Carancho y la intersección de la Ruta Nacional N°35 y la Ruta Nacional N° 154.
El desempeño de los puestos estará concentrado en la prevención y en la reducción de víctimas fatales, a través de presencia, trabajo de prevención y concientización.
En relación a los objetivos generales, el ministro di Nápoli señaló que “las novedades son profundizar las políticas de seguridad ya instaladas no solo de siniestralidad vial, este Programa contempla un paradigma amplio de seguridad integral. Se trata de advertir a lo largo de las rutas acerca del buen descanso, el correcto uso del cinturón de seguridad, de las luces y demás cuestiones, para evitar accidentes y tratar de bajar el índice de víctimas fatales”, agregó di Nápoli.
El funcionario se refirió a la responsabilidad de los conductores al momento de circular sobre las rutas y señaló que “vamos a abordar a los vehículos en cuestiones de prevención y de advertencia en cuanto al descanso y al uso de cinturones de seguridad, velocidades adecuadas y las reglamentarias. Lo que no podemos es estar dentro de ese vehículo donde va ese conductor que muchas veces es irresponsable y produce un resultado de víctimas fatales no deseadas. A esto y a la reflexión de los conductores apunta el programa más allá del eficiente abordaje que se pueda hacer desde la Provincia. Por supuesto que no nos queremos quitar ningún tipo de responsabilidad y para eso estaremos presentes en todos los puestos que ya se encuentran cubiertos desde mediados de este mes”, indicó.
El ministro di Nápoli informó sobre equipamiento recientemente incorporado para la detección de posibles restricciones de circulación sobre vehículos que pasen por las rutas de La Pampa. “Les hemos sumado implementos informáticos para verificar si pesa sobre los vehículos que circulen en la Provincia, algún tipo de restricción de circulación, como lectores de patentes. Todas acciones tendientes a preservar la vida de nuestra gente”, concluyó.
